"You feel vibrations from deep below..."

The Destroyer, a mechanical excavation/demolition engine meant to emulate the Eater of Worlds. Where the Eater of Worlds devours, the Destroyer eradicates. He ejects autonomous probes from his spinal column, which seek out and destroy anyone who threatens their metallic host. While his main body burrows through the ground at lightning speed, his probes mop up any sort of resistance on the surface.

I've made a few minor changes to Destroyer's overall design, but most of it is minor details and extra additions that I couldn't gleam from the sprite. The biggest change in design from the 2D Destroyer is the addition of plastic connectors between his midsections. In the game, he actually bends his metal frame when he wants to turn. This kind of behavior doesn't translate well to 3D, so I decided instead to put in a more flexible material in the gaps. Personally, I think it suits his overall design.

Like Eater of Worlds, I've provided 4 different lengths of Destroyer. There is also two different versions of Destroyer for each length. One that has probes, and one that does not. The version containing probes is referred to as "_probed".

Probes are also a separate model, and can be spawned alongside the Destroyer. At the current time, there is no way to plug Probes back into an empty Destroyer(this is a ragdoll/physics thing, I can't change this).

Finally, as some of you have pointed out, the Eater of Worlds(and Destroyer) spawn pointing straight up, with their bottom halves stuck deep in the ground. After quite a bit of rerigging and testing, I've found that this behavior is actually implicit to all ragdolls in GMod. All ragdolls spawn facing straight up. For bipeds and simple ragdolls, this behavior keeps them from spawning standing up and falling to the floor. For giant train-sized megaworms, this behavior plants them deep in the ground. There is no fix for this, but you can spawn the worms higher in the air to mitigate the problem. I should also point out that every boss I have made has this same behavior(Eye spawns pointing up, Skeletron spawns on his back, etc).

Let's hope this is a smooth release this time.

The original concept and design of the "Destroyer" is the intellectual property of "Re-Logic".

It's been ages since I've booted up GMod, but I believe the ragdolls show up in the general spawnlist, which is the leftmost category. You'll probably have to dig through the tree of folders to find the bosses.

I am no longer workshopping. Someone else will have to manage those. Sorry.
