2018 UPDATE: No missing props and updated name and graphics.

If you have any problems please unsubscribe and resubscribe the assets and the theme before commenting. The assets names have been changed to make more sense in the game and in order for it all to work the new assets and the theme
need to be updated.

This is one of a collection of assets designed to work together in my Building Theme: UK Housing - Terraced #2 (2015). Please subscribe to the theme for this to work at it's best.

This is a low residential UK terraced house theme.

This theme covers one type of low residential house based on my previously uploaded Terraced House asset.

Please subscribe to all assets in UK Housing: Terraced #2 (2015) Collection for this theme to work.

It includes a variety of plot sizes including 1x2, 2x2, 3x2 and 4x2 plus a 2x2 corner. I have restricted the plot depth to 2 for visual consistency and to allow each zoned area to develop in a similar way.

Each asset size has versions from level 1 to 5 to allow the district to level up and still remain as one house type. This is something which is perculiar to terraced areas and will help to make the residential areas more realistic.

I suggest that the smallest zone size should be a 4x4 square as smaller areas seem to spawn corner assets anywhere (not sure why this happens), and these areas don't look realistic.

Each asset has a variety of props used for the gardens allowing for a good variety when they spawn. In addition, each level has (or can have) different gardens which will add to the variety.

Most assets don't use colour variation as that is built into the sets of houses. Variation is set into the 1x2 single assets to alter the door colour.

Each asset has an lod which includes specularity and illumination. Subscribe to all of the props in Macwelshman's Asset Props' collection for the gardens to work properly.

To use this theme you must subscribe to the Building Themes Per District mod

To enjoy, and control, this theme I recommend these mods.

@Mecwelshman Sounds great. I haven't played Skylines for a while now, but I will start again soon. I am a big fan of your assets, they really look amazing and so realistic! It would be great when they include fences, walls, etc - it really is a pain to place them manually.

I have been out of the loop for a while but may start adding some new and updated assets soon. I'm thinking of recreating some of my houses with built in fences/hedges/walls and sheds and garages. I don't know about you, but I sick of having to load so many 3rd party assets just to get buildings to look good. I'm hoping this will reduce the load on the FPS - assuming I make them as efficiently as possible.
Let me know what you think.

Hi, great job. But I've got a request.
Would it be possible to create a Parisian version?
I love the 5 story high buildings they have there, and would love to recreate that theme.
but there is almost nothing here about Paris on the workshop. :(

And I think you are one of the only one's who could do this. (properly)

Most UK cities have districts of one type of housing at a specific level. e.g. low wealth terraced, medium wealth semi's. There is usually some variation of house style but you won't find a medium wealth family building a house in a low wealth area. That is something that happens over longer periods of time and that can be controlled by changing the theme when it's when you want a change. The district will then slowly change from one type of housing to the other as houses are replaced.
