Very odd... you should have no problem with this as 8000 people use this asset... Here is what I do... try placing it, and running the roads up to it, or away from it... though there should be no problem either way.

It says there's something in the way when I try to connect it to the end of a street. Testing it, I found out I can't connect both sides to a street. I can only connect one side, and when I try to connect the otherwise it says something is in the way and highlights the road piece of this kit itself and the first road I connected to it.
