Vanilla mercenaries recruitment chances

The chances with which the vanilla mercenaries will be available for recruitment in the provinces has been increased.

Fame levels changes

Increased the limits related of the fame levels of all factions in the main and DLC campaigns.

The limits have been increased and you can now recruit more armies, fleets, agents (champions, priests, spies) and governors if you level up your faction.
The speed and experience which you need to level up hasn't been changed.

Recommendations

Create a backup of your save games before using unit packs. If you install an unit pack and then play a campaign, the IDs of the custom units stay in the save game. If you remove later an unit pack in your ongoing campaign, then the save game can't be loaded correctly if there are recruited custom units in the armies from you or the AI.

Attila Custom Battle Crash Fix

Attila has the same issue as it was in Rome 2 if a player uses too many Unit Pack mods together. This crash happens when you select for the AI any faction which has a roster which is larger than 70 units and it doesn't matter how many of them are vanilla or custom units. So if you experience this crash while using many Unit Pack mods together, then you can install my fix for this issue.

The names of the units appear automatically if you play the English version. You can switch your language in the Steam options of Attila.

Yes it is compatible and the UPC is needed for other languages than English. As it is described above in the description.

I hope you can find the time this year because I am ready to give up on finding decent units for the Celts, especially the Picts and finally the Slavs.

Holy shit I had to trim that down, evil, evil 1000 character limit, sending you a friend request, I would be very happy to give you unit ideas to flesh out rosters, some factions even with mod packs feel empty.

I love the mod so much and won't play the game without it but I do have some requests.

Can you add a new archer unit for the Ebdanians? If you need something different for them than the other two maybe longbowmen with war dogs and/or shields and axes for melee? Not having a longbow unit like the other two celtic factions sucks so hard.

My second request is a better war dog unit for the germanics, nords, and slavs (longbows too). At the very least can you give them shields and some leather armor for durability? War dogs are shitty on auto resolve but great on manual for flanking and taking down runners. You could be the first to go for skirmisher war dogs (shields pls!).

My third request is more pike units for however many factions you want to create a pike unit for, light desert pikes, medium pikes for slavs and easterners? Celtic pikemen with chainmail or leather and small celtic square shields wouldn't be out of place either and look great.
