Nova Lusitania

Description
Nova Lusitania is a Beyond the Cape submod focused on Portugal and the wider Iberian world. It expands the nations, regions, and military traditions shaped by Portuguese and Iberian history, while also enhancing the countries that interacted with it.

Note: You can play this mod without Beyond the Cape, however please bear in mind that the balance is made with that mod in mind.



Key Features

Iberian Holy Orders
  • The Military Orders estate privilege is now available to all Iberian Catholic nations. (Future updates will extend this to nations hosting holy orders within their lands.)

Portuguese Military
  • Three unique Portuguese land units have been added:
    • Besteiros do Conto (I)
    • Portuguese Arquebusiers (III)
    • Aventureiros (III)

Other
  • The Reconquista Advance is now unlocked for all Iberian Catholic nations, granting +2.5% Discipline rather than +15% Army Morale.

Upcoming Content
  • Reintroduction of Iberian holy orders, as well as two new ones: the Knights of Avis and the Knights of Santiago da Espada.
  • Expanded military order mechanics and interactions.
  • Iberian Situation focused on uniting the peninsula and forming Spain.

It should work with the current version, yes. I am working on adding more things and I'm expecting an update by the end of the week or weekend. Maybe earlier if my schedule is kind.

@Pastor Crentuê thank you for mentioning it. All the unique units, even in vanilla, show it like that. I do not know how the devs intend to go forward with this, that is why I have stopped short of updating it.

i.e they have the default advance icon that is, some castilian and aragonese icons also appear to be default so may be unrelated to the mod

yo, apparently the new advances for portugal lack an icon for the 'content' tab when ur starting the game, its a small (largely irrelevant) problem but i thought it might be worth reporting it lol
