(UPDATED) Remember Reach - Halo 3: ODST Firefight Pack

Description
A collection of Reach maps ported into Halo 3: ODST's firefight.

The maps Holdout, Outpost, Installation 04, Corvette, and Courtyard have been ported into ODST. These maps are compatible with ODST's full suite of custom game options and modes including Floodfight and map boons. Starting weapons have been replaced with a newly balanced Assault Rifle and Magnum. Power weapons drop from Longswords, and ammo for these weapons can now be found around the maps. The infinite ammo crate has been replaced with limited ammo weapon crates. And the mighty forklift returns.

Base game/general changes:

-New intro music track "We All Got Secrets" from ODST's mission "Data Hive".

-Enemies are marked with a waypoint when there's 5 remaining

-Power weapons are marked with waypoints at the start of a round

Weapons:

-Assault rifle: increased range and damage. Sound, screen shaking, and controller vibration adjusted for stronger feel.

-Magnum: increased range, damage, rate of fire. Added scope. Screen shaking and controller vibration adjusted for stronger feel.

-Brute Plasma Rifle: Stats match Halo 2. Vastly increased rate of fire and damage compared to base ODST.

-Plasma Pistol, Brute Plasma Rifle, Brute Spiker, Frag Grenade, and Needler have projectile lights.

Enemies:

-Brutes: New armor lights with an unused bitmap. New unused melee attack. Rate of fire and aggression with Brute Plasma Rifle matches Halo 2.

-Elites: Returning animations from Halo 2 (Berserk, Sword draw animations, correct rifle melee animation, h_ping, s_ping). More aggressive AI. Larger health and shield pools. New armor colors and shaders.

-Grunts: Can now use Wraith turrets

General-101: These mods literally would not be possible without the fantastic Halo-Asset-Blender-Development-Toolset

Crisp: The Foundry Blender extension greatly sped up the porting process

Krevil: The enemy remaining navpoint script

Undeadkiva: Inspiration for the adjustments to the Brutes

the battle rifle poisoned our water supply, burned our crops, and set a plague upon our houses

and also Installation 04 is set up to behave like Reach with boons enabled, vanilla-ish ODST without and I wanted to keep every other map consistent with that feeling. Maybe I'll add a button to swap in battle rifles, maybe but it won't be until the next batch of maps if I do. I don't personally enjoy its presence in ODST

The recent update broke this mod and many others.

no kidding!! the flood in halo 2 and 3 were my favorite enemies to be honest, they gave zombie-like pressure while still having all-of-the-above mechanics as other enemies

@Cable of course! it feels so right and so wrong at the same time to see the flood on Reach lol

Update is live. Two new maps. All previous maps are updated with a new weapon rack switch button. At the beginning of a round, before the initial wave, use the glowing Silenced SMG control panel if you wish to change the weapon racks to the standard ODST loadout (Silenced SMG, AutoMag). I recommend you create a custom gametype with the starting weapons as the SSMG and the AMAG if you wish to use this function.

Currently Outpost's weapon change system is broken. A last minute change that broke it after map compilation, it'll be fixed in a future patch. But as it stands on Outpost you can change the weapon racks whenever you want during the whole match, resulting in functionally infinite ammo. Also tied to this issue, power weapons don't drop on Outpost.
