89' Red Horizon: A Cold War Naval Campaign (v1.1.2)

Description
🛡️ Red Horizon: A 1989 Cold War Naval Campaign (NTU & Pact Enhanced LethaliTy Required)
The year is 1989. The Cold War did not end — it exploded.

In this alternate timeline, the Soviet Union launches a full-scale surprise invasion of the continental United States. From the icy waters of the Bering Strait to the warm Gulf of Mexico, and from Hawaii to the Atlantic seaboard, every coast is a frontline.

Red Horizon is a 10-mission naval campaign built for Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age. You will command U.S. carrier strike groups, submarine wolfpacks, and coastal defenders across a sweeping series of escalating operations to repel a Soviet invasion and reclaim American soil.

⚓ Campaign Mission Overview

Mysterious Soviet trawlers and surface escorts appear near the Aleutians. Shadow, identify, and prepare for the worst.

Enemy long-range bombers and cruise missiles threaten Hawaii. Defend the fleet.
Carrier defense, layered air and missile combat.

Mission 3 – Frozen Gate

Convoy escort under bomber raids and missile storms.

Mission 8 – Reclaim the Sound
Retake Puget Sound from entrenched Soviet naval forces.
Multi-domain counterattack with subs, surface groups, and air support.

Mission 9 – Typhoon Down
The last Soviet carrier group is in retreat. Hunt them down and finish it.

Mission 10 – Shorefire
This is it. Launch the final assault on the Soviet-held California coast.

Mission 7 needs a trigger to end the mission after all red forces are destroyed.

Great set of missions! I've done the first three - I did get a bug in the M.3 Frozen Gate, where after I destroyed the soviet escort ships, the landing ships disappeared from the map. I was sending my planes over where they were, and the Ropucha's would be firing at the planes, but nothing on the map, and no radar signs from any of the ships/planes...

I'm through the first 6 missions. Great scenarios! One thing I'd note is the red subs are of little threat. They could be placed much closer to the blue surface ships. Dropping sonobouys across 200 square nautical miles only to have them pop up at places that are out of the way.
