Aqueduct Tower II

Description
Another aqueduct tower has been discovered. It holds the key to a long-lost underground city. Will anyone be able to solve its mysteries?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Guy! I believe this is the final project for ES1, so as a send-off, I create a sequel to my favorite room — and maybe yours too. This is another fairly large room that takes at least 45 minutes to complete. If you find any bugs, feel free to let me know (I’ve fixed them in Part 1 as well).

You don't need to finish part 1 before playing this (but still recommended to play)

Difficulty: medium
Players: 1-4 player
Length: 45+ minutes
Sound: recommend

Special Thanks

Also Thanks to GGӡL for the many times helped me with scripting advice.

You can see the Walkthrough in game.

*In multiplayer, when pressing the button to go up or down the ladder would teleport all players if standing close to each other. Still working on a fix for this.

Have fun!!

Wow I LOVE this room! The use of the mechanics and the puzzles themselves are just in a different league! Very old school Myst kind of feeling with the visual clues rather than a wall of text. Tricky but always logic. I love the reuse of puzzles, items and the different ways of thinking and visualization needed to solve everything. Amazing!

Thank you for playing!! @ChunkehLeygs, the second still hides somewhere on the cliff. Located on the same level as the 3rd floor

Awesome room...the layout was great and the puzzles were excellent. Only one thing I couldn't figure out was where the second group of 'pillars' were for the 'drawer' puzzle on the top level. One set was obvious, but I simply didn't see the second

Thank you for playing! everyone. Now I'm planning an advanced cipher to make more sense. @Faym About your observation, the poem hints that the hourglass stops at the blacksmith, and the snake stops 2 spaces behind the hourglass, so it’s still possible. But if you feel the clue is too vague or unclear, could you re-point out that specific line? I might be able to tweak it to make it better.

Super fun, thanks!

I think one of the puzzles may have its guide/hint wrong. The 3rd puzzle with the ships that you need to guide, the little poem card that dictates what you need to do has you place the ships weirdly/incorrectly. If you place them as the card dictates, they each need to move 5 spaces to get to where they need to go which is impossible with 3 movements of 1 or 2 spaces each. I ended up ignoring the poem card and just following what the in game walkthrough/hint said the end results needed to be and spaced the ships out accordingly to be able to solve/complete.

Otherwise I rather enjoyed the level, and thank you for making it!

You have no idea how excited I was when I saw that you made a sequel to the first Aqueduct! I'm honestly very proud of what you and other creatives like yourself have made over the course of this game's life, and am thrilled to see what experiences you'll create in the future with ES2 on the horizon. On behalf of everyone who has played and enjoyed your rooms, thank you.
