Dawn of the Dead is a mod about fictional zombie apocalypse that began in the United States in the early 1990s.

Mod contains:

• Singleplayer/cooperative missions;
• Multiplayer with 2 factions;
• Improved Conquest (Dynamic Campaign) with 2 factions;
• «Outbreak» multiplayer game mode;
• «Heroes» multiplayer game mode;
• Improved first person view and gun play;
• A lot of content for Editor.

Our main plans for 2025:

• More Multiplayer & Conquest maps;
• More singleplayer missions;
• Adding new content;
• Total rework of weapon models;
• Adding a Frontline mode;
• Total rework of human models in the future;
• And much more.

POSSIBLE ISSUES

In the singleplayer, local network game or editor everything should work perfect. But during online/cooperative game you may encounter a lot of bugs that we are not able to fix unfortunately.

In the multiplayer/cooperative game you can expect:
- Incorrect infected death: they can freeze, fly while dead and so on;
- Incorrect working infection system;
- Incorrect working gore system;
- human/vehicle sliding/teleportation;
- incorrect firing, pure damage registration;
- human can break after pick up a medkit or rocket launcher or in any other case.

Our modification is non-commercial. We have put a lot of time and effort into this mod, so we hope that it will be treated with respect.

Resources that are prohibited to use in your mods:
- assets in "-alc_team" folder;
- our vehicles with ALC logo;
- our humanskins and stuff;
- infected system (zombie), animations and everything that relates to them;
- weapon animations and first person improvements;
- our code features;
- our maps and missions;
- weapon sounds;
- human animations from "_dotd" folder;
- reworked interface;
- unit portraits.

If you want to use something from this list - ask us first.

Assets in "-buildings_spence", "-buildings_220hertz", "-buildings_darf", "-buildings_smilies" is made by Spence, 220hertz, darf and smilies for Cities Skylines mods. Permitted to use ONLY in Dawn of the Dead mod.

I have no issue with my SP dynamic campaign but when starting a multiplayer one we can complete the first mission but once we launch the second and get everyone in the lobby we are not able to start the mission.

@Sea-Knight, any word about grenadiers not resupplying ammo? They come in some of the higher tier infantry but after 10 x 40mm rounds they are out of ammo with no sidearm and scavenging for a rifle is only temporary.

@Sea-Knight, negative, it does not say my name or ai. Just the helicopter type in blue. Also the little bird supply drop works just to clarify but the fire support does not. I was on Hopes End.

@bway425, thanks, one final question: when you moving your curson on the helicopter, there should be a text under the cursor with player nickname (or AI), vehicle name and weapon. Do you see your nickname?

I tried before and after units being spawned at the beginning of the match and mid match. Also the NG grenadier for sure does not want to resupply. I know the other grenadiers have done this as well. Doesn’t happen all the the time but most of the time with the grenadier.

@Sea-Knight yea so it’s in Single Player, Dynamic Conquest, and all of the maps. Also grenadiers seem to not want to resupply whether it’s a large resupply bag or transferring a supply kit into their own inventory. All solo play conquest played multiple campaigns now where this happens. Thanks for amazing mod!

@bway425, we're currently trying to solve this issue, can you provide more info on this? What map, were the player units spawned before calling helicopter, fog of war enable or not and is this single or coop?
