But honestly, that’s such a hilarious idea — it gave me a good laugh!
If Tennosuke were to become a full character, he’d probably need his own xenotype: blue jelly skin, shiny bald head, and some kind of immortality trait.
Then again… would he really last long in the brutal world of RimWorld? Poor guy might just get eaten by a muffalo. 🐃💦

@ponpeco That is actually hilarious, the punchline reminds me of similar comedic anime like gintama or cromartie highschool. Are you planning to make Tennosuke a proper character in the game with texture and starting scenario? I think it is a funny and fresh way to start a game

Tennosuke: "That sounds tough for you guys." (super chill)
Apocriton: "I’ll take you down, Tennosuke."

It’s a parody of a classic manga scene:
In the original scene, Tennosuke was sipping tea like it wasn’t his problem — until someone suddenly directed their full rage at him. (To be fair, he totally provoked it beforehand 😅)
His face goes from “lol” to “Wait, why me?! 😱” in one second.

It’s a popular meme in Japan where people recreate this moment with different characters.

That’s Tokoro Tennosuke.
He’s made of tokoroten, a traditional Japanese jelly-like food — so he’s jiggly, wobbly, and borderline indestructible.
He revives no matter how many times he gets hurt… often by his own teammates, for no good reason.
Also, he’s hopelessly devoted to the Japanese character "ぬ" (nu).
Sounds ridiculous? It is. But it’s 100% canon.
