AGOT - Secrets of the Higher Mysteries

Description
A mod that adds an item crafting and a Magic system to AGOT.

Adds some tweaks to how Dragon code behaves, notably, with respect to growth, and Dragon longevity.

Some things may be buggy at the moment. Will be worked on overtime.

If anyone wants to offer some trait icon art, it would be deeply appreciated.

I welcome any suggestions for making the UI more intuitive.

Current Features Magic:
- Adds a large scale magic system, with a total of 7 distinct disciplines of magic.
- Adds a new activity to explore your magical abilities and discover new mysteries.
- Each discipline of magic has at least 12 unique mysteries.
- Scroll Creating System lets you make a magic scroll of every known mystery for gold.
- Comprehensive Magic Teaching System, lets you teach additional mages.
- Dynamic Mage usage. You are ability to use mages in your realm to cast mysteries for you.
- Scaling Magical skills. Your mysteries grow in potency based on the respective discipline skill.
- Miscast system, your skill in magic broadly, determines whether or not your magic will miscast and cause the caster harm.

Current Features Item Crafting:
- Create multiple different types of items, with the possibility of enchanting items with various bonuses and modifiers.
- Choose from all of the AGOT swords the cosmetic you want your crafted blade to have.
- Scaling bonuses based on the crafting character's ability in magic.



Current magic scroll locations, Dragonstone and the Citadel.

Have added some random functions that will scatter 25 random mystery scrolls to 25 random locations around the game world on game start. Will also add 15 locations that will count for the event to get the StarWalker trait.

I will eventually remove the AGOT only code, and make a version of this mod for the base game, probably around the release of the upcoming DLC.

- UI fixes, some changes to UI element size. Bug fixes to a couple of mysteries.
- Loc fixes, error log corrections.
- Introduced a repeat casting feature.
- Added a new value to the Magister Trait to let you see passive drops of power gain on a character. Not this gain does not reflect the total, just the base gains.
- Added new interaction and variables to let you gift all crafted items.
- Fixed some broken UI entries in events.
- Fixed broken mysteries.
- Added some more icons
- Fixed some bugs leftover from recent AGOT patches.
- Four new mysteries for Dream Magic, allowing you to change the faith or culture of selected Counties or Characters.
- Six new blood magic mysteries. Changed the way the Draconic Enhancement and Blood Enchantment mysteries work to let you stack multiple casts of these mysteries.
- Fixed bugs in Mysteries related to harming enemies. Fire and Water Magic can now properly be used to inflict wounding upon victims rather than just killing them.
- Fixed some loc typos.
- Magic Education and Blood Sacrifice Rituals now have their own custom Event background art.
- More art work for Activities. Some loc fixes.
- Finished replacing most of the trait and trait track icons with new standardised images. Should look much nicer now.
- Updated for 16.2.3

Ok, so most recent update now included the ability to chain cast mysteries.

Before this update i was able to play this mod with AGoT and Legacy of Valyria, but now my game crashes when i use this mod together with agot and LoV, and i noticed that LoV changes the places that you can find the magical scrolls, does this change of scrolls localization may be the cause of the crashes? thanks man your mod is really cool adds alot of good content.

Thank you so much for your update!! It's truly one of the best submods I have played. I'm just wondering, would it be possible for you to add more choices of modifiers to the crafting systems? So that we may get modifiers for legitimacies or knight effectiveness? Thank you so much!!!

Oh, I need to edit the define from five. You can get around this by appointing people to the position from the character interaction menu
