Description
Ping's Ultima Textures 2.6.7
Pictures of roads & European vegetation, see previous mod version here. It is also included in this mod version.

i recommend this mod for lighter cobblestone streets when using the desert biome
Update 2.6.7
The update slightly changes the road signs. The 90 km/h speed limit sign with a red border is now a German motorway entry/exit sign. The 40 km/h sign with a red border is now a German play street sign, and the signs used to mark towns (town name signs) have been changed to a German orange design with a generic place name for visual purposes.

Update requires reinstallation.

What do this Mod?

The entire vegetation has been revised.
European vegetation - Finished
Desert vegetation - Finished
Siberian vegetation - Finished
Jungle vegetation - In progress

European vegetation
The standard bush is now a hazel bush, the old small bush is now a monk's pepper bush & a dog rose bush.
The old large bushes are now blackberry bushes.

The old beech tree is now an oak tree & the old arcacia is now a hazel tree.

The old poplar is now a gray poplar with a lighter trunk.

The pines have been replaced by the old/new spruce & other fir constructs.

There is a real fir tree (the old Tuhja) & also a blue spruce (the old spruce)

Desert vegetation
New desert vegetation consists plants from the Middle East, Africa, Mediterranean, South America, American & Eurasia Deserts.
Desert ground textures have been improved. Correct sand color & the too light underground at construction sites or roadsides has been adjusted.
Mountain textures adjusted & oasis textures, based on real pictures.

The Standard Yellow Desert Bushes (Large & Small) are now Salsola busch - Saltbush - Tumbleweed & Retama raetam - White Broombrush [Grows in - Eurasia, North Africa, Southern Europe, American & Middle Eastern Deserts]

The small standard bush is now a prickly pear - Opuntia ficus-indica [Grows in - American, Mediterranean, Middle East, South America, Africa Deserts]

The standard Acacia (Yellow Tree) is now Acacia tortilis/raddiana - Desert Acacia [Grows in - Middle East/Africa]

The other standard Acacia (Yellow Tree) is now an Olive Tree - Olea europaea subsp. sylvestris [Grows in - Middle East & Africa]

The old Big Green Bush is now Yucca brevifolia - joshua tree [Grows in -American Deserts ( Mojave Desert )]

The last desert plant (similar to the poplar) is now a cypress as well as it could be.
--------------------------------
Palms are unchanged.

By the way, European vegetation was used on vanilla desert maps. This was done by the map designer, it looks strange with the mod but you can live with it. I recommend using mod maps that only use desert vegetation.

Map creators can now create specific US or Middle-East deserts.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The default fence is now a guard rail for roads (a bit fiddly to place close to roads)
The old wooden wall is now the new wire mesh fence in green.
The concrete wall with diamond pattern is now a decorative wooden wall.

For decorative textures, the small footpath is the texture of the better footpaths & the large one is the natural cobblestone pavement

NOTE

This mod needs a little more performance due to the new vegetation.
I had a potato PC with i7 2600, 16gb ram & a GTX 1050TI 4GB.

It runs smoothly for me, but you should avoid very dense forests.
On my current playthrough with most buildings it runs just as good/bad as before.

For asphalt streets with lanterns, sidewalks are available in the folder

thx for reaction! anyway, do you know where are this textures located please?

@ticho
This mod doesn’t change anything about the textures of the HV electric poles or anything else about it. The problem isn’t with the mod. There are other mods in the workshop that alter HV electric pole assets.

Hi Pingu, thank you for that amazing textures. please is there any way how to change HV electric poles color? it's so bright (white) for me. I can use dafult, but I can't find it in folders. Where it is located please? thank you.

In the mod folder, there’s an extra folder called "street with lanterns - sidewalk available" where the version with sidewalks is located. That reminds me, those should be brighter since I didn’t adjust them to the new darker scheme. I forgot to include that in the description. It’s actually mentioned in the old mod version.

Hi! @Pingu's Revenge
I really liked the mods and textures :ghlol:.
But I have a question, the sidewalk on the asphalt road with lights isn’t showing up, unlike the brick road which has a nice sidewalk. Is that intentional?
Because between the two asphalt roads, the only difference I can see is the presence or absence of lights, but neither of them has a sidewalk.

I didn't at first either. Which also bothers me, but you can live with it. If I make the streets even brighter, they are too bright again in the normal biomes ^^
