This is Saint Michael, the Fallen Archangel.

This is my first ever mod for Your Only Move Is Hustle.
I started it as a way to learn the basics of Godot and Modding, with no initial plans to release it. However, when my friends and the community members expressed enjoying my work, I decided to make it official and continue developing him for a proper release.

There is a good bit of lore related to him and his story, you may find it in my community
discord server.

I hope that you enjoy playing around with him and figuring out his mechanics and features.

This is a PUBLIC TEST RELEASE:

This character is EXTREMELY unfinished. The goal of this version is to finally let you experience what I've been working on all these years and provide honest, critical feedback in regards to it. While Michael already has core mechanics that define the character's framework and future direction, some aspects still need refinement, and many many other things are still missing.
( key elements like a complete base moveset, certain sprites / animations, and essential tools )

100% agree with the guy bellow me, having a free get out of jail move is not fair.
you cant give your character a move that will win in 100% of situation

And btw, creating a complex character but not doing anything for the codex is a huge red flag

There is no version of this character that is fun to play against. Being incomplete isn't really relevant. He does too much, too well, while having too few weaknesses. Also, Time Stop mechanics will literally never belong in a game that is TURN BASED.

His damage is lack luster, needs to do more damage. Feels like I'm just slapping people with a wet noodle. Hes legit a coughing baby vs a nuclear bomb, please just buff him like it doesn't feel great to land a move if I'm doing MORE THAN LESS THAN THE BASE CHARACTERS THEMSELVES! Migues if you see this just please bro buff him.

General FAQ:

- Is this still being worked on? Yes, though very slowly, I am a college student and I tend to work on him during my free time or during vacations. I like releasing big updates rather than small additions, so people can get to test out a variety of mechanics and moves, and give me major feedback.

- How to use Convergence/Full Moon/Horizon/Revelation? Check the forums, you might find some important information in them.

Sorry for the delay, I was away for summer vacations, and my laptop's screen recieved some damag, which ended up taking about 1 to 2 weeks to repair.

I'll be resuming work now, and I'll be answering some of your questions:

- Fumi: Could you elaborate on the issue you're experiencing with Reversal? So I can look into it.

- Rukio: I play with the game's volume settings in some of his moves, and it's likely that a bug is causing the volume to spike too high sometimes. I'll look into it, thank you.

- Sato: He's meant to be a complex character, so I understand why some people might find him overwhelming. He's still in an early state, and many of his moves are being reworked to better fit his playstyle. Even when finished he may remain mechanically heavy, but I am aiming for balance. p.d. I also plan to release a codex to help players learn more about him when I finish him.

Sorry for the second comment but just to be more precise, the problem with it is that, first, he's so hard to understand, but the real problem is for the opponent, yomih is a game where you have to guess what the opponent is going to do, we just CAN'T guess against him because of all of those possibilities. All of those UI, variants, etc... It's way, WAY too much

Even in the replay, muting DJ's music and adjusting the volume at all seems to reset it back to extremely loud.

Can we turn down Michael's audio on his moves? It's pretty loud. Something on him seems to reset the audio. When the audio is on 1 notch from nothing, it resets to default volume.

I was fighting DJ though so maybe they have some weird interaction?
