Description
Mitsubishi F-15J Peace Eagle MOD

It seems the devs are taking an interest in the Japan Self-Defense Forces for their forthcoming update. So I figured it would be cool to create a mod adding the Mitsubishi F-15J Peace Eagle to Sea Power. I just hope the devs didn't have the same idea…

The F-15J Peace Eagle is a single-seat all-weather air-superiority fighter, based on the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, built under licence by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and in use by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The F-15Js are identical to the F-15Cs except for some electronic equipments which are produced in Japan.

This reskin of the F15C features liveries for the following squadrons of the JASDF:

  • 201st Tactical Fighter Squadron (Anniversary livery)
  • 203rd Tactical Fighter Squadron
  • 204th Tactical Fighter Squadron
  • 303rd Tactical Fighter Squadron
  • 303rd Tactical Fighter Squadron (Air Combat Meet 2010 livery)
  • 304th Tactical Fighter Squadron (Default livery)
  • 305th Tactical Fighter Squadron
  • 306th Tactical Fighter Squadron

Notes:
This mod does not require Sealifter or Anchorchain.

If you publish a scenario using this mod, do not forget to indicate in your description that in order it works the players need to subscribe to this mod first ;).

Changelog: Feb 27, 2025. Added 204th,304th, 305th and 303rd (ACM) TFS liveries. March 3, 2025: Added 203rd TFS livery.

Important (about mods and mods use):
This mod has been tested and is running perfectly on my computer (i7-11800H @ 2.30 Ghz - 16 GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050) with no other mod enabled. However, since they are as many computer configurations than computer users, it's unfortunately impossible to guarantee it will work on yours.
Be aware that by installing mods for Sea Power, you are modifying your game experience from the original intended product which is (as of March 2025) still in EARLY ACCESS. Therefore, later game updates/patches may cause this mod to be deprecated. Although it is very unlikely, the presence of other enabled mods might cause conflicts, and the more enable mods on your computer, the greater the chance of conflict. So, to sum it up, USE MODS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you wish to clean uninstal this mod make sure to follow these steps: 1) Uncheck this mod in the mod manager. 2) Click on Accept. 3) Unsubscribe. Then make sure the mod's file is no longer in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220 folder.

@ 世贸帕维. Unfortunately, I know how to kitbash (edit ini files) and do some basic graphic files modifications but I'm really a zero with Blender :steamfacepalm:

Thanks for your interest and questions
@ GAME. Actually I asked the exact same questions to Username (Nimitz Expanded Mod) and GoldLeader108 (Queen Elizabeth Class Carrier Mod). They kindly replied as follows: 'You can use software such as UABEAvalonia to go through the game's assets and isolate files you want' and 'I used SeaLifter's texturedump feature.' Then it's just a matter of editing the png texture files with a graphics editor like the Gimp for example. After that you'll have to create folders called assets/ships/materials/ in your main mod folder and put the png files into the materials folder. Then, you'll have to type the following lines (as an example) in the _squadron files of your mod for each squadron:
ResourcesLiveryFolder=assets/ships/materials/
LiveryTexture=type the name of your graphic file here.png
In any case ALWAYS make backup copies of any game file you modify ;)
Hope it helps.

It may be rude, but I want to ask you because I'm truly curious.
How did you get a Original skin file? I'm also interested in Reskin but I can't find Original skin file
I ask for your help. Thank you.
