Due to starting difficulty being slightly higher than intended, trees have been modified on the starting island. Use them wisely!
Performance really takes a hit after u build paths to navigate to other areas as it's so big.
Really annoying trying to reform the map
10/10 map that makes you rethink your research priorities (I have never unlocked bridges this early or the forester this late), leading to a quite unique run! :)
@Dr.Spaghetti @sgatech a tip for the wood's location: I really regreted playing Emberpelts in the beginning, gotta get a little wet ;)
There are 65 birch trees, some of which are not fully grown.
So that's 65 wood without waiting for them to spread.
Inventor 12 wood
Pump 12 wood
Waterwheel 25 wood
Lumber Mill 20 wood
Total
24+45=69
And that's without the cost of the forester, 10 logs and 7 planks, so 17 more wood.
I guess you could demolish the inventor once you reach 30 science, and the lumber mill once you have 7 planks. But beavers can't access the logs in the pile without a storage building to move them into, so that'd be another 4 logs lost to a small industrial pile. And can't access the planks without another industrial pile, for another 4 logs.
Shame, it's an interesting looking map, but it's a borderline impossible start. I guess you could sit around for ages and hope the trees spread naturally, but it's such a slow and puzzle-like start.
A few natural ramps or something other than birch trees would make it possible.
