Description
Welcome to Flinders Island, off of the north coast of Tasmania. I originally made this map a few years ago, before custom borders were added. I lost that original file, so it was time to remake it with custom borders and a new resource distribution.

Being an island, there are no customs houses, and no power connections. You will have to use ships and aircraft to get started in realistic mode. Search for island start, or pioneer to find some mods that will help you in this endeavor.

Oil is pretty rich, but you will have to find a way to get it to market. Coal and iron are decently located and moderate in richness. There is a poor uranium deposit on the mainland, but the rich deposit is on a small island. Bauxite is located in a few areas. There are a few areas of courtesy stone on flat land to get your gravel business started.

I hope you enjoy the map.

Map data is from https://heightmap.skydark.pl/

Thanks for that. The early start worked for me by only deleting settinglock.ini, so the other file does not need to be deleted.

I have looked at terrains from Tasmania before, but haven't found anything that looked right for a map.
