Description
Original B41 Mod

Adds 4 crossbows, recipe book can be found on houses, libraries and bookstores
Recipes can also be learned from skill levels
Adds 4 types of bolts wood and metal, short and normal (short bolts are used only for the hand crossbow)
Bolt break chance scales with maintenance
Recycle wood bolts recipe chance to return bolt parts scales with maintenance and carving
You can select which bolt to use with the right click menu on the crossbow
You can use Twine and Wire to string the crossbows each one have different stats
You need to convert attachments before using
The crossbow string snaps when condition gets low
Recipes can be found under Assembly, Carving, Knapping, Masonry and Weaponry tabs
(PS: bullet flash is hardcoded in B42, crossbows will light up when shooting in the dark)

currently planned to add:
At least 2 more crossbows (a magazined two handed crossbow, and a compound hand crossbow)
Sound when string snaps

@Paradox try redownloading the mod sometimes it works

@我是一个小菜坤 maybe a mod overrides the same function as this one and it bugs out, will try to fix this in the future

@SDgamer i didn't add it yet because its missing it's model and i don't make those i only do code and textures, zer0 is the one who makes the models and he won't make anything till they readd MP(he plays MP only) so could be during unstable if it re-releases during it

That's really strange... If you only have this mod installed, attacks deal damage normally. But when multiple mods are involved, it stops working — does anyone know why?

Pardon me asking but, are waiting for Stable to come out or are you adding the Mag Fed Crossbow durring Unstable? As someone who likes the Urban Survival style of game play i really do need a crossbow like that

@OxTailSafu i tthink you could but since most cans of that type are made from aluminum it's very bendable unlesss its a thick sheet so it's penetration wouldn't be as good as the other ones that is if it could penetrate at alll

Yeah no worries! I absolutely love this mod, so I've just been throwing the tin cans. Do you think it'd make sense to allow soda cans to be used as well for arrow heads?

@OxTailSafu i might have forgot to make it consume in the recipe, sorry but i have no pc rn so i can't really do anything until around next week when it is supossed to be fixed so i guess just throw the cans in the trash? will fix when i have my pc again

I wanted to report a bug regarding making a Crossbow Bolt Head with Tin Cans. It looks like the recipe isn't consuming the cans so you can make an infinite amount of ammo from them.

@stevenpiamba96 maybe? i haven't used that mod but some people reported some things from this will behave wierdly when using rains, like bolts duping when killing zombies, or not being able to convert attachments

@浟伊 maybe will remove it from the crude crossbow recipe but it's definitelly needed for the other ones, also forgot to add the stone drill as a possible tool
