Description
ATTENTION

You NEED this COLLECTION in order for this to work

In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium... there is only... Warhammer

Warhammer 40,000: Raven’s Field is an unofficial configuration collection of the best (and functional) 40K mods on the workshop that aims to deliver the battles of the Milky Way galaxy to Ravenfield’s FPS sandbox experience.

This mod builds off of Andbrew’s excellent Warhammer 40K Unofficial Configuration , which is the basis of this mod. Unfortunately it’s quite old and some skins & weapons are missing. This is my attempt at remedying that while adding new configs along the way.

DISCLAIMER:

While I tried to make this as accurate as possible putting together, some liberties have been taken to enrich the experience and make it fun while looking cool by substituting certain vehicles, weapons, and skins with non-40k mods. So for you puritans out there, I’m sorry but you’re gonna see Star Wars and Halo mods among others in this.

FEATURES

STATS - Each faction in this config has unique stats, thanks to some mutators. For example, the Eldar are tall and more agile but with relatively low health, while Orks are tankier but are only slightly faster than an Imperial Guardsman. The Space Marines are, well, Space Marines, with bulky health, durability, and speed.

SKILLS - Each faction also has a skill ratio. Thanks to Bot Skill Tweaker, every faction has varying levels of bot difficulty. Therefore, Space Marine chapters have a higher ratio of Veteran and Elite units compared to other factions, for example.

TEAM NAMES AND COLORS - Each faction is named on the scoreboard with their unique faction colors.

IMMERSION - This mod is complete with LeMieux’s Suppression Mod, Gore Mod, Vehicle Hit Sounds and Permanent Wrecks.

GAMEPLAY - Lastly, this config has gameplay features with the following:
  • Jump packs for select configs (from Atherline’s Jetpack mod)
  • Sprint-sliding (this ONLY APPLIES to Astra Militarum, Adeptus Mechanicus, Chaos Cultists & Tau , because their movement speeds are unaltered. There doesn’t seem to be anything I can do about it.)
  • Vault and dash ability
  • Space Marines, Sororitas, Daemons, and Necrons can regenerate health
  • Night Lords and Legion of the Damned can ‘blink’ (teleport)
  • Change loadout while still alive by standing near a supply crate and press keybind for deployment screen (default ‘Enter’)
  • Each sentient faction can call in stratagems
  • Press ‘F’ to execute melee attack
  • Press ‘Y’ to enable low gravity (convenient for space maps)

That being said, this collection contains the following 49 configs:

WH40K Adepta Sororitas vs. Chaos Daemons Adepta Sororitas vs. Deathguard Nurgle Daemons Adepta Sororitas vs. Emperor's Children Armageddon Steel Legion vs. Plague Zombies Astra Militarum vs. Biel-Tan Eldar Astra Militarum vs. Orks Black Legion vs. Tempestus Scions Black Templars vs. Warp Vampyrs Blood Angels vs. Black Legion Blood Ravens vs. Orks Cadian 8th vs. Tyranids Catachan Jungle Fighters vs. Dark Eldar Craftworld Eldar vs. Necrons Craftworld Eldar vs. Orks Dark Angels vs. Thousand Sons Death Korps of Krieg vs. Blood Pact Deathwatch vs. Orks Imperial Fists vs. Necrons Iron Hands vs. Emperor's Children Lamenters vs. Carcharodons Legion of the Damned vs. Black Legion Orks vs. Tyranids Palatine Wardens vs. Chaos Daemons Penal Legion vs. Orks Raven Guard vs. Alpha Legion Retributors vs. Chaos Cultists Salamanders vs. Dark Eldar Skitarii vs. Dark Skitarii Skitarii vs. Necrons Space Wolves vs. Thousand Sons Tallarn Desert Raiders vs. Necrons Tau Empire vs. Astra Militarum Tau Empire vs. Biel-Tan Eldar Tau Empire vs. Orks Tau Farsight Enclave vs. Deathguard Tempestus Scions vs. Blood Pact Ulthwé Eldar vs. Chaos Daemons Ultramarines vs. Black Legion Ultramarines vs. Tau Empire Ultramarines vs. Thousand Sons Ultramarines vs. Tyranids Ultramarines vs. Word Bearers Valhallan Ice Warriors vs. Orks White Scars vs. Night Lords World Eaters vs. Emperor's Children World Eaters vs. Vostroyan Firstborn WHTHH (The Horus Heresy) Imperial Fists vs. Iron Warriors Solar Auxilia vs. Sons of Horus Solar Auxilia vs. Word Bearers

Author's remarks

This is a massive config, so I hope your machine has the disk capacity to hold these mods. For me, the game takes 5-6 mins to load with the mods in this config, with a prayer to the Machine God.

This has been 3 months in the making, and I got to learn a lot about Warhammer 40k lore along the way. Thanks to all the Ravenfield modders who modeled and scripted these mods in the first place. Thanks to Lordaloa and other authors of the WH40K Overhaul Collection . Thanks to Andbrew's 40K collection configuration for putting together the first ever 40K config on the Workshop.

I know this is just a config and anyone can make these, but nobody seemed to publish an updated 40K config with Ravenfield's new updates and QoL mutators ("updated" is tight here; we've barely had any new 40K models on here for years), along with new configurations.

Please try out the config, explore, and leave any feedback! If you have any requests, comment down below.

This is my gift to the community :) Merry Sanguinala !

Everything is fine now btw, its just my AMD Driver dies from heaviness of this config, and my stupidity. I reinstalled the drivers, and everything start to work fine again! I definitely need a more powerful computer.
