Type 051 "Luda"-class DDG (3 Variants)

It's the 70s and you just successfully made your first ICBMs. To properly test out its long range, you will need modern warships to properly guard and observe its descend into the ocean. However your relationship with the nation that sells you modern equipment just plummeted, so it's up to your own to design and make a guided missile destroyer capable of long range observation.

Presenting you the People's Republic of China Navy(PLAN)'s Type 051 destroyers, capable of long range detection and armed with anti-ship missiles.

This mod contains 3 variants of the class, which are the base 051, the upgraded 051D and the SAM-armed 051DT.

In game uses the Soviet Kanin-class as the base model so appearance-wise might not look that similar to the actual 051, but I did my best matching the armaments and sensors, both model and performance wise. Feel free to point out anything in need of change!

The base variant of the 051, outside from the AShM it mostly still resembles more of a WW2 design with its focus on heavy gun armaments.

---------------------051D Luda I-class DDG---------------------
Compared to the base 051:
- Four radar-controlled Type 76 twin barrel 37mm mounts instead of 57mm that cannot be radar-controlled
- Added Type 341 fire control radar for the 37mm mounts
- Improved HY-1A AShMs (See below for features)

Mostly still the same ship but with better AShMs and faster firing 37mm guns.

---------------------051DT Luda III-class DDG---------------------
Compared to the 051D:
- Removed the back 37mm mount and replaced it with the HHQ-7 SAM launcher (See below for features)
- Changed the Type 352A radar to the Sea Tiger fire control radar for the HHQ-7
- Added chaff

The first destroyer in the PLAN to have both AShMs and SAMs, but only one ship was upgraded to 051DT, serving more as a test bed.

---------------------HY-1 AShM---------------------
Compared to the Soviet P-15(SS-N-2) it is based on:
- Longer range (37nm instead of 21)
- Bigger warhead (513kg instead of 454)
- Slower speed (533knots instead of 622)

Basically still a copy of the SS-N-2 but with longer range and bigger warhead.

---------------------HY-1A AShM---------------------
Compared to the HY-1:
- Even longer range (51nm instead of 37)
- Lower sea-skimming attitude
- Even lower attitude on final approach

Actual sea-skimming missile, comparable to the SS-N-2C.

---------------------HHQ-7 SAM---------------------
- 8 ready-to-fire missiles on the rails with 16 extras that needs manual loading
- Usable for short-range self defense (8nm range)

A copy of the French R440 Crotale SAM system, this missile system only provides basic short-range self defense capabilities, however it can be considered a significant step from the gun-based anti-air system the PLAN has at the time.
