Description
My best end-game design yet. Marries the functionality of my best battleship design with the Daily Driver features you want, expansive hangar, Large fusion core compatibility, Enhanced armor both in the Length and breadth of the nose, along with Double-xeno thickness around your core. Perfectly flat and unobstructed wings for optimal turret numbers and lines of sight.

100% Drive thruster design, This is the fastest Battleship ever published for RE 2.0, w/ yaw/pitch/roll above 50 & speeds of 100 m/s possible "at the antimatter level". This ship comes standard with Ion Drives as a Core9, but can upgrade to virtually any level of thrust, with lift and speeds exceeding 10Gs possible.

Novel Double-windshield design for enhanced Cockpit safety.
Independently armored device slots galore.
Stellar explosion proofing.
Top Landing Deck.
Generous hangar space.
2x Hydroponic slots or room for up to 4 Universal constructors + smalls.

The ship is armed for ease of use and low construction requirements, w/ x10 Medium Laser turret compliment, 2x Medium Gatling compliment, and 4 Triple Heavy Plasma Cannons. Making it easy to use for either defanging, or direct coring strategies.

The Starcadian is an amazing ship but I have a problem but it may not have to do with the ship at all. Possibly a PICNIC error. I have replaced two of the plasma canons with medium rail guns in the multi barrel formation. I placed them in the inner most weapon cavities and I either get an error stating the weapons are blocked or if I do get them to fire they fire alternately, never simultaneously. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Just had a look at the Blueprint, and nothing's wrong with it Warlow. Not sure what the problem is for you exactly, could be your server, could be youre playing a modified version of the scenario, but it isn't the blueprint.

@ArtemisRogue Man i love your ships. I really want to jump into this ship to take on drone space but there's so many guns and blocks missing I just dont know what goes where.

If you drop it in, you can see the counts are off in the groups. IE Weapon group has 5 weapons but opening it only shows 1 advanced laser cannon decoy.

Repair devices, defence devices/shields are missing, cpu missing.

Arty your ships made me fall in love with RE. I know you've poured love and sweat into crafting these. Any chance we're going to see a QoL pass on them to replace the missing blocks?

where do you put all 8 cpu cores? the compartment mentioned in your earlier posts only fits 4.

@novoca1n3 I'm not the author but I've got this ship nearly maxed out on upgrades, just need some more crew to finish her out. As far as upgrade path goes, it depends on the content you want to do. I think after the latest changes to add data cores to immerit class and above, going to legacy space to farm quantums doesn't really make much sense. You can get quantums and data cores just taking on immerits. As far as path, I went from 4>6 blasters, then upgraded shields, maxed out medium turrets, removed gats for laser turrets. I've even punched out the decoy weapon and put in a thor2 experimental for precision coring (using plasma on the outside cores risk blowing up quantum boxes on destroyers. Furthermore, the experimental railgun is really useful in drone space for punching out cores in bases. Just use shield calculator or go with something like 4lg capacity, 4 med 2 capacity, then 6 small charger and 2 capacitors.

Enjoying this ship however it would be great if you put together some sort of upgrade guide. Better still install LCD's of where to put things. Are you able to upload a version of this that has been upgraded to 4 Quantum's with a shield and weapon configuration for taking on Legacy? Or do you have this on your discord?

The ammo for the heavy plasma cannons is "quite" cheap compared to other options, if you are friendly with polaris for example can get 1000 shots for 250k credits which aint bad.

Heavy Plasma cannons... look what you need Phentoxid , Magnesium, Earstrum Aluminium and quantity...bah. Was very lucky found Temperate planet in Drone land with one Moon only. Every few minutes you will have Meteorite falling down in order Pent (average 1400 crystals) Promethium average 1200 yield and Aluminium similar to Promethium. They falling so quickly you have hardly time to harvest one with end game SV miner running 6 lasers. In 3 hours of real time collected 42K Pent just over 40 K Promethium and same Aluminium. Magnesium was biatch but dropping 10 Automated miners and one industrial, so one medium deposit 6 Small and 3 very Small made my Quartermaster fully employed as mined. They Nerf Isotope gens so my current energy spending idle - 6500 if that is not done i will be -10500. Quantity of ore should be enough
not to grind in Legacy space to harvest 16 Quantum.
