Pervasive. Literary. Brutal. Experimental.

MINERVA, by Adam Foster, takes you to a remote island under the control of Combine forces. Something is going on here. Your goal is to uncover what that is and destroy it. Oh, yes - and try to survive.

This is the 2013 edition of the famous Half Life 2: Episode One mod, repackaged for the new Half-Life 2 Workshop.

peak mod, it's not for everyone but if you can get over the text and puzzles being a bit difficult it really gets clear why this is such a classic

Really outstanding map design, story on the other hand... pulling the plug on combine literally is sort'a hilarious, but texting in fps, blocking like half of the screen? HL2 is not a visual novel, show not tell

you know, i've always wandered about who the heck we play as in this mod. we have the same arms as gordon freeman but we're implied to be a converted combine soldier??

idk if there's a specific mod that causes issues with this but for some reason it always crashes my game when I die and also when loading metastasis_3
