Description
Hino RC620 - an japanese public transit bus manufactured by the Hino company (subdivision of Toyota). It is an right side traffic analogue of the model RC520p, which was exported to Australia. It's aluminium carbody was modelled after british Layland Panther. It is an part of "Blue Ribbon" range.

Hino RC620 was one of the candidates for licence manufacturin in Jelcz plant in Poland. It was considered an very modern vehicle in it's times (70s) At least 3 units were brought to Poland and, in spite of little chances (eg. due to alluminium construction of the carbody which would be difficult to manufacture in than-present factories in Poland) were extensively tested in Warsaw. It made an really good impression on passengers with it's comfort and "Original japanese orange paintjob" as it is described in some sources. Later 2 units were operated by LOT (Polish Airlines) and 1 unit was operated in Cracow (till the local roadways destroyed the suspension)

Ultimetly the french Berliet was chosen, and licence manufactured in Jelcz plant - both in original form and in diffrent modifications designed by polish engeneers.

But what if the japanese proposition won?

Due to lack of information some deminisions and parameters were taken from RC520p

Parameters ingame

-country of origin - Japan
-availability ingame - 1970 - 1995 for Dollars
-vmax 83 km/h
-motor output 200 kw
-weigth 8 tonnes
-24 diffrent liveries! Both realistic from RC620, semi-realistic from RC520p and fictional
-paintkit!

In the future the archive most likely will be developed - I would like to make other Hino bus types like: RC300, RC421, RV and maybe even TR.

I will be very greatfull for any technical drawings, blueprints, deminisions, parameters!

@pitagoras991

Understandable, I look forward to seeing the RC421! I believe that the Omnibus Society of NZ, or perhaps another group in NZ may have the drawings for the RK and RR, would it help if i could find them?

if you're considering doing more Hino buses, perhaps you could do the RR/RK series? A large number of RK176/177s and a small number of RR172s were built for New Zealand operators for e.g.
