A shame because it’s a great idea. I would’ve built my emergency department that way if it were possible.

@Cityboy, just build a Radiology wing as close to Emergency as possible. Also the mod is missing rooms from radiology anyway. In my main hospital Radiology is on both 1st and 2nd floors (as close to Emergency as possible) while the exclusive Inpatient Radiology are on the 3rd and 6th floors so they do not get mixed up with outpatients. The mod does not work because it is outdated but frankly it is not needed. If you make a good optimization from that particular department any Emergency case should have imaging in the appropriate time.

Dear friend,
The "Emergency Department Radiology" mod you created is a really great idea and would be very useful in the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work properly in its current version. Even though I’ve subscribed and activated it, the game still only uses the default settings, and the rooms don’t appear as they should.

Could you please update the mod’s configuration so it works with the current version of Project Hospital? I’d really love to use it!
Thank you so much in advance!

Just place Radiology next to the Emergency Department. The mod is obsolete anyway since Radiology is considered already a support department for vanilla game anyway. This means Labs and Radiology are lead by your Emergency Chief Doctor (if you have appointed one).

This does not work for me anymore. I cannot hire a technologist for emergency dept. xrays.

You can simply make Radiology/Labs to treat patients that are hospitalized only (management mode-department staff list-staff card-allowed roles). Then you’re good to go. I actually recommend this for larger hospitals simply because both support departments can get overflowed very quickly if not set up to function optimally. In vanilla game the max floors you can build is 6 so there’s plenty of space for multiple support department wings, even if you own all the DLCs. Such mods are unecessary as of patch 41 (and playtest patch 42) imo. They become obsolete with the game updating cycles.

Please update

If you go by realism then the collapse rate of the game is way too high. In my country we do have several radiology wings (to avoid crossing between clinic and hospitalized patients as much as possible). However, I do live in a big city and have knowledge of the infrastructure of the biggest hospital in our city/district. There’s an option in management mode to take every single patient in the game over yourself (which I recommend it to be on). Sure it makes the days longer and you have more pop-ups do deal with but you’re less at the metcy of the AI so that helps lower your hospitals death toll. My main hospital has a 98% treatment rate (average against patients dying/leaving/transferred to other hospitals).

Also I meant to say in the last comment as well that having 4 radiology wings may allow things to run smoothly, but it is not practical or realistic. For example, the hospital I work at is a designated level I trauma center with 250 staffed beds and we have only 2 CT's and 1 MRI. It's not perfect, but it still gets the job done pretty well. (it also helps that the doctors in real life know what they're doing {for the most part lol}).
