Description
Hey, so it seems like most players don't reach the end game, and it is understandable, I am one of them (lol), but I think one of the reasons is that when you near the end you get this discouraging feeling that there is not much left to do, and to alleviate this feeling I made this mod.

I didn't add anything groundbreaking, but new era buffs spearmen and add arquebuse units (+ reiters cavalry), and also adds you prety substantial bonuses to domain limit, to shake up the game a bit.

Perhaps it is a bit "eurocentric" (although I purposefully made descriptions rather vague to alleviate that a little), so you can give me some ideas for culture specific innovations (for both renaissance and baroque).

To properly run it, you will have to also subscribe to "Renaissance Era" mod by Julien, which I somewhat rebalanced, but again, you still need it for everything to display properly.
And remember to place THIS MOD on the game list BELOW the Renaissance mod.

Also unfortunately you have to start a new game for the mod to work.

Notice: While Renaissance Mod is shown to be outdated, the Baroque Mod will contain compatibility updates for both of them.

It's actually intentional, cause I wan't to limit the amount of units that would be just straight up upgrades over one another

not sure if its a different mod causing this but having this mod enabled with the renaissance mod removes the handcannon innovation from that mod, is it possible if you could patch that?

I don't actually know why I have this - because I don't really run to the 1500s, but fun idea.
It'd be cool if by the baroque era you get bonuses that make retaking your primary title land way easier, leading to cleaner securer borders to represent nation states

You could add arquebus units specific to local cultures, like in the arquebus mod. I think this would be great.

Déjà merci pour ce mod qui me semble très intéressant.
Si tu souhaites des idées de mods, puis-je me permettre de te proposer de travailler sur plusieurs époques.
- Les Empires Coloniaux (1492-1789)
- Les Guerres Napoléoniennes (1789-1815/20).
Ce sont des époques riches, que ce soit culturellement, diplomatiquement, militairement, niveau intrigue également. Enfin bon ce ne sont que des idées et je sais que cela demande énormément de boulot.
En tout cas merci pour l'époque Baroque ^^
