1960 Chevrolet Corvette C1

Description
Description:
1st Generation Corvette. The birth of a legend. There are 5 configs (2 authentic, 3 custom). There are 3 interior colors to choose from. There are 2 hardtops, 1 soft top, or you can just keep the top down. There are engine covers/cold air intakes for most engines.

Configs:
Standard - single or double 4 barrel carburetor options
"Fuelie" - Mechanical Fuel Injection
Restomod - Modern engines, alternate exhaust configuations (ie side pipes)
EV - FWD with Electric Motor
Supercharged - Supercharged with hood blower and side pipes.

* All configs can be found in Junkyard, Auction, Barn, Salon, Phone Jobs (level 20).

DLC/Mod Info:
  • The "Fuelie" config engine requires Mercedes-Benz DLC.
  • The EV config requires the Electric Car DLC.
  • The LS3 supercharged engine requires Drag DLC.
  • The Coyote, Boss, Voodoo, and Miami engines require Ford DLC.
  • The Voodoo and Miami engines are from the TK Aftermarket MOD (https://www.nexusmods.com/carmechanicsimulator2021/mods/143).

Helpful Hints/Additional Info:
  1. A template, for liveries, can be found in the workshop folder.
  2. If you're having a hard time finding the roof (clamshell rear) on the car when the top is "down" you click on the chrome latches right behind the seats.
  3. The windows when "down" can be found at the top of the door as a thin strip.
  4. The "fuel injection" badge (car part 2) is only available on the "fuelie" and the restomod like it says in the part shop. "Fuelie" comes with it by default. Restomod is deleted (car part 2 B) by default but you can add it if you want. I added a pic of the location in the pics above; its the last one.

History:
I tried to make as much as I could authentic to the actual car down to the actual paint colors. While the engines are not the correct size, they represent, as close as i could, the available options for the 1960 corvette. The real engines were all 283ci with options for single, or double 4 barrel carburetor, or the mechanical fuel injected version which they called "fuelies" at the time. The C1 corvette was made from 1953 to 1962. These early corvettes had unique features such as the exhaust tail pipes integrated into the rear bumper. Also the double headlights, like in this version, and eventually double taillights that you see in later generations.

Yeah The V8 1 & 2 Carb OHV & The V8 2carb OHV Supercharged & V8 OHV SS - ( Beach Boys 409 ) & All V8 DOHC AXK & The LS3 That's about the best you can do for Chevy engines in this game, Plus I know the exhaust system can be a real pain to Align up at times, Thnik you did a great job as always , I'm looking for it when I login , Thanks Man.
