Unnecessary Cultures Mod - VFM Submod

Description
For this submod, I have added over 100 new cultures to the game, all of whom have unique name lists, as well as a number of new discrimination traits. The mod is meant to more accurately model the diversity of regions outside of the European continent, to hopefully provide a deeper and more detailed game.

I understand the default version of the game cannot be this granular due to performance, but mods allow people to choose whether they wish to engage with certain content. Personally, I have played with this mod until 1936 with no significant performance issues, so it is certainly playable for those with more robust systems.

As a disclaimer, I am not an ethnologist or an expert on any of the cultures depicted in this mod. I am very open to feedback on any mistakes I have made, especially regarding distributions or names. Almost all of the populations are vibes-based, for example, as it is hard to find accurate population sizes in Africa for 1836. I am also open to adding more cultures based on any suggestions.

Currently, this mod requires the Victorian Flavor Mod. Otherwise it will not work.

@chivanko I am currently unsure about this. Livonian and Elfdalian are both very small minorities, even in 1836. Beyond language, you would have to provide an argument for why these cultures are distinct from those around them, and why those distinctions were politically or socially relevant in the time period.

you should add livonian and elfdalian next time this mod updates

@2227817689 (I realized I should probably be doing this) If you have suggestions for East Asia, I would certainly be interested. I haven't really touched it, beyond originally broke up Tibetan a little bit before changing my mind. I've thought about re-implementing Ryukyuan, which was removed from VFM when most of its map changes were undone in 1.8. I've also thought of potentially adding Wu, and the other Sinitic languages that are currently unrepresented. Maybe also the Hui, though they may be adequately represented as just Sunni Han people.

What about East Asia
Sengi  [author] Mar 28 @ 5:20pm
it might be interesting, though some preliminary research indicates there were only around 2300 Livonians at the game's time period. As this time period was largely defined by the assimilation of Livonians into broader Latvian society, I am unsure if it would be make the most sense to represent them as distinct.
chiv Mar 28 @ 8:51am
you should add livonian spoken in latvia (extinct today)

the Cham culture is technically already in the mod, and was in fact one of the first ones I added. However, it is broken for some reason. I might try to fix it again in the next update, bu they are represented by Acehnese pops in the meantime. I think the Mon are already in the base-game.
Khnom Dec 6, 2024 @ 7:36pm
should've added cham to southeast asia, maybe mon too

Thanks! For the next update of the Australia and New Zealand Flavour Pack we are doing some work on Indonesia and the rest of Oceania, so I found this mod because I was interested to see if anyone had already made a Sundanese culture for Victoria 3.
