Sukritact's Urban Identities

Description
[bsky.app]

Urban Identities is a brand new Game Mode that shakes up how you build and plan your cities!

Regions dot the map, each with unique Identities that can be claimed by being the first to settle a city there. Identities are traits that change the rules of urban planning!

Where will you build? What will your metropolises be known for?

Civilization VI has always been filled with varied terrain: but Urban Identities will make them matter. Everything from vast cliffs, and dense jungles, to placid lakes may now be marked out as a Region. While they might not be quite as wondrous as Natural Wonders, there's still something special about them. Perhaps you should build a city there to find out why?

Identities make your cities unique. Whether it be a quirk of the terrain or a reputation it has earned: Identities will change how your cities operate. Geyser Fields change Geothermal Vents from a mere scientific curiosity to a tourist attraction if you've a Theatre Square adjacent to it! Hardwood Trees might make building an Industrial Zone in the middle of a forest a better proposition. Other Identities your cities can earn will shake things up in different ways!

This is just the beginning! Future updates will add more Regions and Identity types, as well as brand new ways to earn Identities for cities based off how you play!

Both systems are also modular! So other modders can easily add Regions and Identities of their own.

Looks like the Rejuvenating Springs bonus stops working if the entertainment site is completely pillaged and then reconstructed

sometimes when I reload a game, there is a bonus resource on a rich soil tile that wasn't there when I saved the game (or at least I didn't notice, but it definitely didnt spawn when I made the farm)

I've noticed another minor issue related to regions :
On the rich soil region, ressources are not generated once a farm is put down (with a chance) but have 33% chance to spawn under each farm every turn.
I only had one ressource spawned in one of my rich soil city, but now i noticed every farm is having either potatoe or wheat.

I've noticed a couple of issues related to regions:
- Geyser fields sometimes stops working (noticed after saving, quitting, and playing again later, not 100% sure if it was the reload that broke it or something else beforehand)
- Prophetic Visions gives great prophet points regardless of holy site presence
- Building a quarry in Igneous Intrusions does not trigger the inspiration for Masonry

so sukritact are you planning on updating this or has something come up that is preventing you, like work?

yeah a lot of them are quite buggy and will give modifiers without requirements which can be very OP.

Huh, it looks like Prophetic Visions gives you the +1 Great Prophet Point whether you have a Holy Site in the city or not. I just got a Great Prophet (turn 60ish, standard speed) without a single holy site, Stonehenge, the revelations policy card, anything. The only reason I can see is because I settled my capital in a Prophetic Visions region. Interesting.

Is there a way to remove the outlines in the Screenshot mode provided by other mods? I can remove borders and city names and icons but the region remains visible.
