Allows your colonists to write novels and author textbooks! You would think this would be base game...Tynan.

Books and textbooks made will sadly not be 'made' by your pawn (randomly generated), as I'm not gonna try to code that, nor do I currently at this point want to try, so books and textbooks will be made 200 years ago on a different planet by some random Joe Schmo.

Novels are cheaper to make (10 Leather, 30 Cloth), faster to craft (50000 ticks = 5 dusters), and has a much lower threshold to craft (2 Artistic), so your colonists are free to make awful fanfiction if they really want to. Writing novels uses your pawn's artistic skill.

Textbooks on the other hand are more expensive (10 Leather, 50 Cloth), twice as slow (75000 ticks = 2.5 large sculptures), and requires some amount of intellect (10 intelligence) to create, but since the bar is set so high, you'll probably not get an awful or poor textbook from the ordeal. Writing textbooks uses your pawns intellectual skill.



Q&A:

Q: Why use this over Vanilla Books Extended, or the other Book-Making mods?
A: We have novels, and uh, less bloat? IDK. File size is smaller too...I can't really think of anything else, but I wanted to make novels with funky generated descriptions lol. Also the other book making mods have bad unfinished book art, mine is automatically better.

Q: Can I use your mod and edit it?
A: If you want to edit or do something with this mod, go ahead, it took me 2 hours, most of which was the art. I really just wanted to be able to make books with okayish art in my current playthrough.

Q: Why it take so long to make funny book? I want read now! Me angry!
A: Felt like it. If too many people feel like it's excessive, maybe I'll change it, but you can literally just use QoL to edit the ticks to finish. (Note that I have lowered the novel and textbook work ticks from 100000 and 150000 respectively lol)
