Spawn Menu part 1

Description
**************************************************************************
This spawn menu is a combined version of menus I previously created, incorporating some new features. To ensure smooth usage for all players, I have divided the menu into parts, with four factions per menu. Part 1 refers to the first section of the spawn menu, which includes Germany, the Soviet Union, the United States, and Finland. Part 2 will cover future factions such as Britain and others. This mod supports all vanilla maps and modes in the game.

This menu is designed for the "Gates of Hell" spawn system and includes the vast majority of units (if you feel something is missing, you can add it). The purpose of this menu is to allow you to spawn units during missions, enabling you to complete tasks more effectively and experiment with different strategies.
Of course, it is not intended for cheating, so it should not be called a cheat menu. You should use the menu responsibly to enhance your enjoyment of the game. Overuse will only make the game dull and uninteresting.

--Features:
*Spawn infantry, vehicles, tanks, and aircraft (includes units from all four factions)
*AI toggle
*Auto-assignment
*Switch unit uniforms and camouflage
*Delete single units, all units, or aircraft
*Spawned aircraft can select bombing zones for automatic bombing
*Clear wreckage
*Max out a Single Unit

--Feature Introduction:

The unit spawning feature requires little explanation; simply click on the national flag to switch between units from different countries.

AI Toggle:
This option allows spawned units to be controlled by AI. It only takes effect when enabled during spawning and does not affect other units on the battlefield.

Auto-Assignment:
This refers to the ownership of spawned units. Auto-assignment is suitable for all single-player missions, where spawned units will automatically belong to you. In Conquest and multiplayer modes, you need to manually switch to the correct player number; otherwise, the spawned units will be uncontrollable.

Delete Single Unit, All Units, or Aircraft:
This feature allows you to delete spawned units. However, please note that when deleting emplaced weapons or vehicles, you must aim carefully, or you might delete the soldiers inside. If it doesn’t work, it’s likely because you targeted the wrong object.

Winter/Desert/Woodland Camouflage Toggle:
In the unit settings menu, you can find the option to switch between winter, desert, and woodland camouflage. This changes the camouflage of spawned units and only takes effect when enabled during spawning. It affects units without existing camouflage but does not alter other units or those already with camouflage. (Note: Since "Gates of Hell" currently lacks desert camouflage, this feature is reserved for future British units and has no use at the moment.)

Single Unit Camouflage Switch:
In the unit’s bottom-right corner, click the gear icon to find the option to switch camouflage. This feature originates from another mod on the Steam Workshop, "Change Paint Scheme." With the author’s permission, I integrated and modified it to allow soldiers to switch camouflage as well.

Spawned Aircraft Can Select Bombing Zones for Automatic Bombing:
This is a new feature. First, you need to spawn an aircraft at the edge of the map. Then, select the aircraft and choose the weapon you want to use for the attack in the bottom-left corner. Next, click "Select Aircraft Bombing Zone," and the aircraft will automatically proceed to bomb the area.

Clear Wreckage:
This feature helps you clean up corpses and irreparable vehicles on the map, reducing lag.

Max out a Single Unit:
Upgrades a human-controlled unit to maximum level. Applies to Campaign, Conquest, and spawned units.

--Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why can’t I control the units I spawned? Why can’t I see them?
A: For Conquest and multiplayer modes, you need to switch the auto-assigned player number to the correct value. If playing Conquest mode solo, simply select Player 2, and add one number per additional player. No changes are required for campaign mode—keep it auto-assigned.

Q: Why did the menu disappear while I was playing Conquest mode?
A: If you deploy all units from all phases, the menu will disappear due to game mechanics. The correct approach is to leave at least one phase of units undeployed.

Q: Why are there so few AI units in Conquest mode?
A: Many people mistakenly believe that using the menu means they don’t need to bring their own units. This is incorrect. In Conquest mode, the number of AI units depends on the units you bring. So, if you want a large-scale battle, bring more units.

Q: I spawned too many units. How do I delete them?
A: In the menu, under "Unit Settings," you can find options to delete single units, all units, or all aircraft.

Q: How do I use the spawned aircraft? It just sits there and doesn’t move.
A: There are two methods:

1.You need to move the aircraft first, then switch to third-person mode and control it directly to drop bombs.

2.Spawn an aircraft at the edge of the map, select it, choose the weapon you want to use in the bottom-left corner, and then click "Select Aircraft Bombing Zone." The aircraft will automatically proceed to bomb the area.

The alternative paint scheme switching method originated from another Steam Workshop mod called "Change Paint Scheme." With the original author's permission, I have integrated and enhanced this feature within the spawn menu. Special thanks to the original creator for making paint scheme switching more accessible!/h2]

this ate ALL of my memory when I used that, is it normal?

It worked fine up until the latest update. As an individual who really enjoys your work, would it be that difficult to keep everything as it is and just patch it so it can be used for the latest dev patch?

Thanks

@Gallina Sedosa That mod hasn't been updated for a long time, I suggest you stop using it. If you really want to modify it, search for {veterancy 8} in the cheat.mi file and change the 8 to your desired number, then modify all search results accordingly.

In global settings there is a "Max out single unit" button, I am currently using another mod that add more veteran levels to units. I would like to know what file in the spawn menu adds the experience so I could change to the other mod's max level

@Gallina Sedosa I'm not quite sure what you are referring to.

Hello Rosemi, I am using a mod that add more veteran levels (up to level 15) and I would like to know if it is possible that I could edit the file on my side.

I don't know what file gives or sets the veteran / experience levels the unit gets.

So do I need all dlc to use it, or does it exclude stuff from non-owned dlc?
