In 1977 Mercedes-Benz introduced a new van/truck (a.k.a. transporter), called T1 internally. Other designations were series TN / T1N ("Transporter Neu" / "Transporter 1Neu") and Bremer Transporter, since the vehicle was built in the Transporter-Plant in Bremen, Germany, first.

Manufacture: German, Mercedes-Benz (Daimler AG);
Maximum speed: 90 km/h;
Engine power: OM616 (616.937/939), 72 hp;

prezidents or dictators of mother russia always liked western cars, mostly mercedes limousine, so if there was western car in armed forces like Militsiya, that wasn't normal patrol car, because these was too good for normal peoples.

Кстати говоря, ты давно хотел обновить линейку Ауди - 100, добавить универсал и версию ГАИ, уже давно жду эти Ауди. У тебя в этом есть планы до делать Ауди??

Eg. Audis in USSR

NOTE: mercedes is from west germany, so that skin for VB is very funny and 200% unrealistic for czechoslovakia police forces, as any state force in eastern block and soviet countries don't buy western cars.
