Original Description

Overview
This mod makes buildings throughout the game emit smoke or vapor particles when they are in use. It is a purely graphical mod and does not impact gameplay any. You can add or remove it at any time.

*The bloomery on the left is from my Simple Chains: Steel mod

Is this still buggy

Getting a weird bug with 1.6 where my framerate is absolutely murdered, and my crash pods drop hundreds upon hundreds of scrap metal at the start of the game. Very bizarre. Hoping to see this fixed, but for now, I think it's going to have to sit on my inactive list.

For large fires, perhaps the mod could implement a staggering, or batching system?
Instead of every individual fire giving off smoke, make it every other fire.
Or, take the average amount of fire in a given area, and spawn bigger 'clump' smoke particles at the center. The particles could just be larger, or could be a single sprite with multiple smoke puffs in the texture.

This mod made my computer start smoking, it gives you what it says you'll get.

Man I forgot how much this mod tanks performance during forest fires. I have a colony on a jungle tile and after a dry thunderstorm I lost like 15fps due to the smoke particles. Should work better on maps with less trees.
