Liberate Country As Subject

Updated for 1.10

Save game compatible!

Adds an event that fires after you successfully enforce a Liberate Country war goal, allowing you to choose whether they shall remain free or become a subject type of your choosing, with an appropriate infamy cost.

Also makes these released countries inherit your laws, not the laws of the country they were forcibly released from.

AI will always choose the independence option. I might change this if there’s demand for it.

Please, let the AI stay to not always choose the independence option. It's only fair and doesn't feel like a cheat. To be honest, it is also logical. War liberators often make conditions on countries they've liberated.

Does it change laws to my country's? I tried it today and it didn't seem to do that. It could be a mod conflict, so I wanted to check if that feature is still in the mod

in 1.10 ai does not always choose th independence option, I just saw Russia liberated bulgaria and made it puppet

@MaxwellMcChill Read the mod description, this does NOT apply to Liberate Subject. There already exists a war goal for transferring existing subjects, it's called Transfer Subject. Please read before complaining.

It crashes in situation that liberate Ainu Mosir in Japan, i think the reason is it liberate as decentralized nations not sovereign nation. By the way Huge thanks for your mod

I used this mod in Realms of Exether recently and it worked just fine
