NYC Water Level Trio Pack

Description
It's finally here!
-----===== HISTORY =====-----
The New York Central railroad employed a number of iconic steam locomotive designs during the steam era, the most well known being the 4-8-2 Mohawk, 4-6-4 Hudson, and 4-8-4 Niagara types. The first of these, the Mohawks, were first designed as the L1 types in 1916, with the L2 being delivered shortly after, in 1925. These locomotives were limited to 60mph freight service, due to their inadequately cross-balanced drivers. Later developments of the Mohawks, the L3s and L4s, were dual service locomotives, doing both freight and passenger deliveries at 80mph during the 40s and 50s.

The 4-6-2 Pacific type, combined with a larger trailing truck, resulted in the iconic 4-6-4 Hudson locomotives. First delivered in 1927, they were the result of the Superpower era's developments in steam locomotive technology. The J1, J1e, J2, and J3a types were passenger locomotives, pulling the most iconic passenger trains in the NYC system from the late 20s to the mid 50s. They were also subjects for the Art Deco streamliner craze, with examples such as the Commodore Vanderbilt, the Empire State Express and the 20th Century Limited Dreyfuss Hudson.

The Niagaras were considered by some as the ultimate steam locomotive design, being developed with the experience of many other railroads. They could pull heavy freights and fast passenger trains with efficient steam generation and minimal servicing downtime.

However, as great as these locomotives were, they were victims of the Central's quick embracement of the new, more modern, and cheaper diesel locomotives, and Alfred E. Perlman's anti preservation ideals. 27 Niagaras, 275 Hudsons and 598 Mohawks were all scrapped by 1957, with only two Mohawks, 2933 and 3001, surviving into preservation.

Sorry for the delay! Life got in the way, but I was able to manage. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that my next items won't go through these delays again. My next projects will be:

-AC-12 Redux
-Pullman Passenger car templates (streamlined, unstreamlined)

Not necessarily in this order. Stay safe, and I'll see you in a Pullmillion years!
