Oharo's Stained Glass Lamps

Beskrivning
Adds in a wide variety of stained glass lamps which are dimmer and prettier than regular standing lamps. Just the thing to spice up your Lovecraftian horror with era-appropriate Victorian vibes.

They can be crafted at an art bench with 20 steel, 1 dye, and quite a bit of work. A darklight variant is also available. By default, the lights will use standard white light, which can be changed with the color picker to an appropriate shade of the user's choice.

Art commissioned from Argón at the RimWorld Mod Market Discord server.

To anyone who may be waiting on this to update, I'm currently adding a bit more content to it. Stained glass versions of wall lights and desk lamps will be included in the next update.

For the time being, it should continue to work just fine despite the version warning.

Yep, working in 1.6

Probably just needs a 1.6 tag added. I can't imagine 1.6 changing anything that would mess this mod up.

1.6?

Thank you for the report and sorry for the delay. Those textures have now been corrected.

G, N, U, AB, AI, and darklight G variants all visually break when zoomed out with activated mipmapping, such as when used in conjunction with Graphics Settings+. This is because their file sizes aren't a power of two, but 128×129. A simple crop should fix it.

Hey Artemisian, I checked out compatibility for Light's Out. Seems like that mod uses patches to add a comp element to the defs in the xml files, which lets it do its work. They've wrote some patches for other mods already, so I believe it would be easy for that mod author to make another patch for this mod.

I would recommend asking them nicely to create that patch for this mod. It should preferably be located on their side of things.

Is there any way this can work fully with with Lights Out? Currently LightsOut gives the error that there's no 'always on' property for the stained glass lamps, so that part of it can't be used :(

Heck yeah

Couldn't you use the wall lamps and just make the art into stained glass window? (so just a cosmetic for wall lamps). That would be cool too!
