Star Custom Chat

Description
StarCustomChat is an overwhole mod that rewrites the way chat works in Starbound.
Instead of a boring, plain text you can now have:

* Two modes inspired by Discord: the compact one and the avatar showcase
* Plugin and localisation system that allows you to enrich the experience for your own server by adding more functionality to the chat
* Chat size and color configuration
* Quick and easy DM panels
* And many more!

This mod is client-sided, meaning that you don't have to install it on a server to use. And of course, this is fully compatible with the vanilla game - you will still receive all the messages from people who don't have this mod installed, and they will receive yours.

Requires StarExtensions[github.com] by Novaenia version 1.9.24+ or OpenStarbound[github.com] 0.1.8+ or xStarbound[github.com] by FezzedOne.

I believe that by "custom clients" you mean xStarbound specifically. It was a bug on its side which should have been fixed in latest versions - you can contact FezzedOne for mode details

nvm its not just that silently sending messages is forced on, its just entirely broken on custom clients now.
i can send messages, but they wont have a chatbox and only players who dont have scc installed can see them

It does look like a bug, but for the best experience I would anyway recommend OpenStarbound. StarExtentions is somewhat depricated

Hi, this is the best interface mod I've ever seen!
However, I caught a bug. The bug is that when you minimize the chat, it may disappear at some point, so I can't hide it, even when it might be more convenient. This can only be solved by re-entering the location or server. Do you happen to know what the problem might be? I used the latest version of StarExtensions, based on the recommendations in the description.
