Fallout: Surviving Sunburst (Mission)

Description
A simple wave survival mission I made for fun. The mission is pretty straightforward and easy. You take control of the BOS as they try to fend off waves of NCR troopers attacking Helios One. There are only 5 waves and the whole mission will take maybe ~20 minutes at most I'd say.


I only spent about 2 or so days on this mission and I kind of rushed, so expect some bugs/issues. However, it should be playable from start to finish. Let me know if you encounter any issues.


Tips:

- Sometimes (especially wave 3 and after) some of the NCR troopers will slow down their advance. They'll sit in the back and wait for a while, crawl, wait, and then push again. This presents a problem because the next wave can't start until there is <= 10 remaining troopers from the current wave. So if things slow down for you, just use your marksmen or a small patrol to take 'em out.

- Waves 1-4 are pretty easy (at least for me). However, wave 5 (final wave) can be very difficult. I didn't want to make a bunch of waves like in my last attempt at a wave survival mission, so I decided to just throw everything at you in that final wave. Watch out for those Vet rangers, they'll take out an entire squad within minutes if you're not paying attention.

- There are 4 ammo boxes on the map. 1 on the top right corner near a small bunker with some BOS troops around it. The other 3 are directly behind the main building. Use them.

- Paladins serve as medics and can revive downed units. Keep that in mind.

I had fun. Idk if this meant not be coop at all but when you do coop it only gives you and your friend the paladin unit

The reason I didn't add more enemies was to avoid issues with performance/balancing. Last time I tried to make a wave survival mission, the performance went to shit by wave 3 and the mission was pretty much impossible to beat.

The idea for this mission is that you're only facing the first few waves the NCR is sending. They're just testing out your defenses. Most of the casualties would come after the mission ends, when the BOS is trying to evacuate the base while trying to keep their remaining personnel alive. Probably not very lore accurate, but that was the justification for the relatively low enemy numbers/easy difficulty.

Honestly this mission was more about the cinematic/story stuff for me and also about getting back into mission making.

I gotta ask, am I supposed to win this, cuz I had a blast playing it, but I feel to stick with FNV lore there should be more in the last wave or something cuz I had a few stuggles and close calls, but other than that I survived with probably the majority of my guys. This was also on normal difficulty btw so I may just have to up that aswell.

@masterofthemultiverses Maybe in the future. Mission making is very time consuming. Especially without any pre-made maps to work with.
