The idea for this mission is that you're only facing the first few waves the NCR is sending. They're just testing out your defenses. Most of the casualties would come after the mission ends, when the BOS is trying to evacuate the base while trying to keep their remaining personnel alive. Probably not very lore accurate, but that was the justification for the relatively low enemy numbers/easy difficulty.
Honestly this mission was more about the cinematic/story stuff for me and also about getting back into mission making.
@masterofthemultiverses Maybe in the future. Mission making is very time consuming. Especially without any pre-made maps to work with.
