Description
This is the TRAILER MC. Ensure you subscribe to the one for the truck as well.

Updated to be compatible with the cargo trailer missions

HGS Standard sets a new benchmark for ensuring seamless compatibility across a diverse range of vehicles equipped with hitch, gooseneck, and semi-style connectors. This standard not only streamlines the complex world of trailer connections but also enhances safety and efficiency in towing operations. HGS Standard addresses the varied needs of different vehicles, providing a universal solution that simplifies the process of hitching trailers.

@Discount Shikamaru Go for it :) That would be cool!

Love your content, especially your ALTA Division. It certainly has inspired me to build my own logistics company in Stormworks. However, when I built my semi truck a couple days ago, I realized that I was using the SIBTaT standard when I was testing it out with your ALTA tanker trailer. One solution I had in mind for the compatibility issue is to make a microcontroller that can switch between the standards. My question is, am I allowed to integrate your HGS system into my custom SIBTaT system to release to the workshop, provided I give credit to you?

Seeing all these comments is kinda funny, makes me want to release my own non-sibtat system I've been using for custom trucks/trailers. Also been making an entirely different container standard for thinner trucks which would piss them off even more.

Making your own system is much more fun and doesn't limit you to following the rules & requirements of others like sibtat. Plus, this is your workshop, build what you want. We are not required to build stuff that the workshop community wants.

Keep making cool stuff, honestly haven't seen a lot of gooseneck trailers so itl be cool to see what else you make.

@thatcoolcat1 I am not trying to convert anyone - people asked for this :D

yeah sibtat is kinda already universal as a standard not just for tractor trailers, but its standard data channels are used in basically all land vehicles on the workshop.

sibtat is more about data transmission channels, then what size you make your trailer concerns only you and what you put in the other channels also depends on you.

There are many reasons! :)
1) I like to make my own systems, and this gives me the most freedom!
2) SIBTaT is intended for tractor trailers; whereas my system gives flexibility for hitch, gooseneck, and semi trailer systems
3) SIBTaT is intended for very wide trucks, I like to make my vehicles smaller
4) I have an inventory of trailers and vehicles using the HGS system. I am not trying to take any users away from SIBTaT, but I have enough people asking for my HGS system to use with my vehicles!

@454SS - it looks like this could be SIBtat compatible + offer additional functions. Would allow HGS equipped vehicles to work with the 25+ pages of SIBtat ready vehicles.

Why didn't you like Sibtat?

I understand players want their own systems and stuff, but if there is an already existing standard i dont exactly understand why would we need an alternative (mainly because SIBtat works for everything and does its job quite good, apart from the entire workshop has SIBtat compatibility).

However works pretty good
