Form New Dynasty

Description
Adds an option when right clicking your character to form a new dynasty for you and all your descendants, splitting from your existing dynasty.

There are a few other mods out there that do this, but they all have limitations or requirements. This mod is designed to be pure and simple: no costs, no negative opinion modifiers, and virtually no limitations on when you can take the decision. The only requirement is that your character isn't the founder of a dynasty. So parent-less characters, bastards, and characters who have already founded a new dynasty can't use the decision, but there shouldn't be any reason to do so anyway since the effect would just be a dynasty rename and re-skin, which is already possible to configure.

The AI won't use the decision, it's player only. If you want the AI to use it, you'd be better suited with a different mod. This is meant primarily as a tool for role playing or challenges. The entire reason I developed this was because I was devising a game mode that involves switching between multiple dynasties, and one of the rules I created was that you have to always start out as a count-tier character with each new dynasty. This mod was so that I could easily tell if rulers were descended from my past played characters.

This should be compatible with pretty much any mod, but if you have any issues, please let me know in the comments. It's also save game compatible, and should be ironman and multiplayer compatible, but it isn't achievement compatible.

@Prester The reason I made the mod was for a challenge game mode I invented that I call Pagan Switch. The idea is to try to reform every pagan religion in the game, and to make it to the end date with them all still on the map.

Every time your character dies, you have the option to select a new character (with the Choose Your Character + mod), but you always have to play as an openly pagan character, and you either need to play as a character from a dynasty you've already played as or start a fresh dynasty as any count-tier pagan. So, for example, you could play a few generations as Germanic pagans and reform the religion, then choose an African count and start building up a new dynasty. Then, decades later, you could switch to a Germanic king from your original dynasty or something.

I basically use this mod so that I can keep track of what characters are descended from my founding characters, and thus what characters are available for me to play as.

I mainly use this for Rp purposes , along with sketchy cheat main , Like I'd collapse my Bulgaria after a Great Prince dies and then I would get all the Bulgarian dynasty dudes to crete their own branch
to prevent unification

So what would be the use of this mod? To make only one of your 10 children be an heir to your stuff?

Looks great - hoping to get something closer to the Houses of Lancaster and York

Thank you for the manual download link, I appreciate it

Also as a pro tip for everyone here, using SteamCMD (which is an official Steam tool) you can download any mod for any game manually, it's just less user friendly.

@Saint Lucia Thanks :). Yeah, I know how Steam can be for some people, plus there's the mod limit, so at some point the automatic downloads are guaranteed to stop working if you get enough mods.

Thumbs up for the manual download link alone.
