Duck Game Rebuilt is an open-source[github.com] alternative client for Duck Game that provides many client-side improvements to the game, such as massive performance boosts, quality of life features, and an active development team comprised of the best Duck Game modders.

Every feature in Duck Game Rebuilt can be fully disabled in the new REBUILT settings menu, allowing a tailored experience for everyone.

This mod is intended for regular Duck Game users. Mod developers should download DGR from the GitHub page[github.com] for a better development experience.

Uncap the game's FPS from the default 60fps to any set amount, or plain unlimited.


Load speed, fire lag, entity lag, collision calculations, and rendering have all been significantly optimized in DGR, allowing for crisp gameplay for all you toaster gamers.


Countless visual, performance, and technical bugs have been fixed in DGR, and many more common crashes (especially from hackers) have been patched out.

And of course, the game's gameplay is still identical to vanilla.


Feather Fashion is a built-in hat editor for DGR with an added metapixel editor. Let's you import hat files into it to edit them, and will even automatically sync changes from the external file if that was modified.

Recorderator is a built-in replay system (OFF by default), and can be set to save-on-clip or always record.

DuckShell is an alternative command engine for the DevConsole, offering many advanced features such as inline commands, variables, and command autocompletion.

It provides many new commands and functions that allow power-users to flourish, and for modders to easily debug their mods.


Displays information about your current match, such as the current level, how many players are in the lobby, and provides an option to join the game from there

• Mid-Game Joining: Enable the setting and anyone invited through steam or with an invite link can join the game
  
• NameTags: Displays the username of players atop their duck in-game when spectating/dead
  
• Score Counter: Displays the score of each player or team in the lobby in a sleek and readable design
  
• Menu Mouse: Use the mouse for menus, just as God intended
  
• Custom Hat Teams: Custom hats with the same name will actually get teamed up now instead of not being recognized
  
• Online Physics in Editor: Replicates the physics from online in the editor test level
  
• Skip Excess Rounds: Ends the game early if a player has certainly won the game, where other's can no longer catch up before intermission rolls in
  
• Start In: Start the game directly in the lobby, editor, or arcade, instead of the titlescreen
  
• Sticky Hats: Hats don't fall off when ragdolling
  
• Skip XP: Completely skips the XP level-up dialog
  
• Faster Menu Navigation: Reduced movement for all menu animations
  
• Improved Invite Links: Invite links become clickable on Discord again
  
• 8-Controller support: Allows you to use up to 8 controllers locally as opposed to the default 4 limit

• Random Weather: Levels have a chance to have a weather event such as rain or thunderstorms
  
• Ambient Particles: More things emit ambient particles to make the game look livelier, like falling leaves from treetops, or fire embers from torches and jets
  
• Particle Multiplier: Decrease or turn off spawned particles to your heart's content
  
• Enhanced Textures: Each tileset has unique sprites when they're broken off by explosions
