So yeah, so far it's pretty much doing exactly as described: Brings FoC units, mechanics, and planets into the base EaW campaigns.
This mod is really just base FOC with EAW content added back in. So you can still play Yoda etc. in the FOC galactic conquests, but not in the EAW ones since Yoda was an expansion hero.
I have been working on including a few custom Galactic Conquests that lets you play Empire and Rebellion with no Consortium but with expansion planets (Equal Footing, Heart of the Maw, Gateways), and creating versions of the OG EAW Galactic Conquests with the expansion roster of heroes instead.
Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible, AOTR's galactic map is completely different from the base game's, so it would break if it tried to load.
Yep, software is gimmicky. Very glad to hear its working!
