Ave Caesar! Your legions await you! Take control of your mighty legions during the tumultuous 1st Century BC and vanquish honorable personages such as the rebel Sertorius, Mithridates, and Tigranes (among others). Experience this classic Rome Total Realism-based mod in the upgraded Remastered engine, with tweaked gameplay, and a new sandbox campaign.

Factions featured: SPQR, Sertoriani, Casse, Slave Rebels, Hasmonaioi, Ptolemaioi, Helvetii, Mauretania, Parthia, Pontos, Arverni, Suebi, Nabatea, Armenia, Dacia, Breuci, Numidia, Sauromatae, Cantabri, and Yuezhi.

Campaigns included:
-77BC: The original 77BC campaign with scripted missions, scripted historical events, and scripted diplomacy. Does not include the original AI assistance scripts since the Remastered engine includes enhanced AI.
-77BC Sandbox Campaign: This is a new addition to this port. It is the same as the original campaign (above) but without the scripted missions and scripted diplomacy. It does include some scripted historical events of the time period.

The mod is still in Beta since there might be some issues and flickering models.

Credits and Contributors:
- Original 77BC and Rome Total Realism team: for developing the OG mod.
- Gudea: for porting most of the mod and providing me with a solid foundation.
- Lanjane the Librarian: for teaching me the basics of 3dsmax to get rid of flickering models.
- The Rome Remastered community for helping me along the way and answering questions.

@Lordrovel
Go to the game options and switch the unit color scheme from "Vibrant" to "Realistic"

I have but one issue: the unit cards dont show (It only shows the peasent unit for every unit). Its quite unfortunate because the units have been done so nicely and I cannot distinguish them on campaign map!

Can somebody help me? I already turned off every other mod.
@lucius this mod has been a blast and id like to thank you for porting this masterpiece, but one question or demand, when or are gonna get a nice port of 58bc into Rome remastered? thanks

@Aristoxenus Because its a scripted event for AI.

I realized that the Jewish (Hasmonaioi) AI can come back with a huge force if they loose Jerusalem, but the player can't, why?

Why are the historical_events not in the major_event_scripts folder, but still in the "old" RTW style file descr_events? They do not work as counters and appear without respecting historical reality.

Why not predict the Reforms of Augustus which occurred in 26 BC? So as to have two types of Roman Units? Furthermore the Polybian Roman Units (Hastati, Principes, Triarii) had no longer existed for 30 years, i.e. since the Marian Reforms.

But should this Mod be installed in RTW/BI or in RTW Remastered? There is a file inside the Mod Folder that gives this Instruction. I also opened a discussion.
