Tog II

General information:

This is a 1:1 replica of the Tog II, All information around the physical apperance and angles were taken from Warthunder and other smaller sources and blueprints. Therefore some proportions might be slightly wrong.

History And Design:

The Tog II is a interesting design to say the least. Basically, the brits were looking at WW1 ''landship'' tank designs and thought, hm, how about we just do that? and for some reason they agreed to make prototypes. So they originally designed and produced a prototype hull and legit mounted a matilda turret on it. Tog unironically stood for ''The Old Gang''. The prototype was made by William Foster & Co. It was ordered in 1940. The Tog II was a Tog I with a uparmored hull and a new turret which was a prototype for the lesser known ''Challenger'' tank
(not the Fv-4030/4 Challenger)
The turret was also uparmored and was given a 94mm 28 Pounder cannon, therefore the turret seems to have been enlongated in the rear to give more space for the crew and cannon. The tank could reach up to a top speed of 14KPH with its 7.5hp/t power to weight ratio. The engine was a humongus 12 cylinder 600hp diesel. The transmission was also huge and the whole thing came together at a weight of 81.3 metric tons.

This replica was pretty enjoyable to make and since it was recently added into Warthunder it gave me an easy to read source for values which made it a thousand times easier, i have also uploaded the Tog II with the GWP (Great War Pattern)
