Haymaker Lake

Welcome to Haymaker Lake! It's always been a dream of every fisher to come out to Haymaker Valley and catch some fish at this lake. Now that you're a fisher, you can help yourself to make that dream come true in this relaxing map!

Every day is full of peace and relaxation with all of the nature and passerby's on the route to the lake:

The route , the outdoor warm feeling of sunshine and nature will soothe you on your way to the lake;
The passerby's , you wont feel alone on your way to go fishing with everyone always relaxing on the way there;
Other fishermen , think you're the only one going fishing at Haymaker Lake? No, of course not! You can see your other fisher peers across from you while you fish;
...And, of course, the fish ! That's what you want to catch!

I bet you're super excited to go catch some fish with and help fulfill your hobby of becoming the best fisherman. But I can tell already that you like collecting fish too—will you promise to keep the best fish with you? ♥

This map was submitted for the PTTR Network's 13th Mapmaker Contest, and won 2nd place in the Advanced category! Thank you everyone who voted.

Some important notes probably:
1. This map was designed for singleplayer, Co-op will work if it even loads, but higher chances are it probably wont load in co-op since I tried testing it with a friend, but if it does even somehow load in co-op then the other players will have to spectate whoever is in the map.
2. Music is a big part of this map, although it might be copyrighted, not too sure on that, but without the music, it may be a bit bland.
3. Recommended to play with the brightness setting at default, which is 1.0
4. Dont look at this spoiler text since it involves a part of the map but it addresses one of the bugs I cant really fix too well During Ending B, the enemies might get stuck in the water and wont teleport up for some reason but you can just throw stuff at them to kill them, most of them do work normally and come up

• This map was inspired by Doki Doki Literature Club in terms of handling the horror atmosphere (if the trailer, thumbnail, and description weren't obvious anyway)
• The player's home was designed after the same cabin in a video titled "i have no idea how to even explain this.." by a youtube channel called Kubz Scouts, where he plays a game called DEER.
• I planned out and wrote a script for this map
• Ending B is a Berserk reference
• This map was started on October 13, 2023
• I sacrificed 3 hours of sleep I probably needed for work today just so I could finally upload this and get it done
