Description
Mod Version 1.9, for Stellaris v3.12.5

This mod attempts to reduce the behavior in which all planets tend toward a wildly diverse and even spread of all available species, regardless of other factors that may make that unfavorable and illogical.

- Adjusts priorities for selecting which pop should grow on a planet, so that the dominant pop generally should continue growing, unless outclassed in habitability or projected growth speed.
- Removed penalty to assembly rate when selecting a species to assemble.

Part of Suzarr's collection of gameplay enhancements, balance tweaks, and bug fixes.
All mods in this collection are designed with modularity in mind, so you can pick and choose to use the components you like, and ignore the ones you don't. None of these mods depend on one another, compatibility with each other is guaranteed, and load order within the collection does not matter.

Will this die with 4.0?

@猫猫老大 No don't worry, I understood your question. I don't have a straight "yes" or "no" answer because I don't really know for sure. I can say that was not the intention of this mod, and I doubt you would see a noticeable difference in performance.

Sorry, I didn't express myself clearly. What I really want to know is: In the late stage of the game, the game will start to run very slowly due to the large number of population, planets, system event evaluations.....
So can this mod do anything good for the game's running speed?

@猫猫老大 I doubt you would notice a difference in performance, outside of some edge cases. Maybe so in the actual empire species screen, in cases where you've gone xenophilic and have many migration treaties. Overall, it may be possible but I wouldn't consider it likely.

This mod has now been updated and confirmed for version 3.10.4.

@Suzarr Thank you, I look forward to it but I will experiment with adding this now. I'm just making a large Modpack and the less mods that are outdated the better. For your aside, yeah at this rate of updates it's frustrating for modpack users and mod makers, so I appreciate your thoughts. I'll give it a shot.

@Athena Yes, I will do an update for 3.10.x whenever Paradox's patch release rate slows down a bit. They've already announced up to 3.10.4 so I'll probably update it when that goes live, or at least before the holidays.

As an aside, this particular mod is quite simple and has never had any compatibility problems yet (you can see this on the change log, where most updates just say "None" and "Compatibility confirmed..."), so it's very likely still compatible as it stands... I just haven't gone and confirmed it yet. Even for simple mods like this one, it's just a file management task to deal with, and it could take days to get through confirming compatibility for a big list of mods - only to have to do it all over again the next week when they release another small patch.

Will there be an update for 1.10?
