Description
Mod Version 1.7, for Stellaris v3.12.2

This mod aims to improve the effectiveness or utility of certain planetary specializations.

- Research, forge, and factory specs now increase output of the relevant resource, in exchange for lesser upkeep reduction.
- Fortress spec now increases the naval capacity output from soldier jobs.
- Adds a research-focus option for the capital, in addition to the other new capital focuses that were added.
- Fixes "arcology project" conversion losing the planet's forge or factory spec.
- Converting to an ecumenopolis while in unity designation will now convert half of city districts to bureaucratic, similar to how it works with industry to foundries or factories.
- Enables the Generator designation on subsumed Nanite worlds.

Part of Suzarr's collection of gameplay enhancements, balance tweaks, and bug fixes.
All mods in this collection are designed with modularity in mind, so you can pick and choose to use the components you like, and ignore the ones you don't. None of these mods depend on one another, compatibility with each other is guaranteed, and load order within the collection does not matter.

@atreidesson I did not mess with that here, no. I mostly view planetary ascension as a late-game resource dump for unity. If you wanted to adjust those values, it would be a simple mod to do - look in defines.txt and search for PLANET_ASCENSION to find all the relevant variables.

Didn't you also remove the stupid cost growth thing? Like, it makes the ascension impossible more than on 2 planets... or several of tier 1.

I agree! :)

@mishanya1337 Yes, with 3.10.4 releasing today and hopefully remaining the official version for a little while, I plan to bring all my mods up to date again in the next few days or the next week.
