Description
Morghasts!

New units and Hero for the various vampire counts factions
... and arkhan!
Vampire Coast too

"The origins of the Morghasts, the Heralds of the Accursed One, lie deep in the past, long before the time of Sigmar."

A sick cross between a Mortis engine and a Bloodthirster

They'll shred the enemy whilst buffing allies

They're a bit of a glass cannon however, so keep the invocation of nehek handy


Morghast Harbingers

Coming in Dual Swords (offence and anti-infantry) and Halberd (defence and anti-large) variations

Recruitment
Vampire Counts
you can recruit them from starting from the tier 1 necromancer building (you'll start with 0 capacity for them)
they're hard capped at 1 unit cap per tier 2 building but you can get more through the Archai as well

Arkhan
From his unique vamp building, You're gonna need to rely on the Archai for capacity increases however

Vampire Coast
Necrofex Colossus building in both the settlements, and ships

Morghast Archai

New hero to buff units and unlock other Morghast units

Recruitment
Vampire Counts
you can recruit them from tier 2 of the necromancer building

or if you want to get your hands on them right away, you can get an Archai from Vlad/Isabella's unique Drakenhof building

Arkhan
From his unique vamp building, You're gonna need to rely on the Archai for capacity increases however, and they use the same capacity as tomb princes

Vampire Coast
Necrofex Colossus building in both the settlements, and ships





Bugs
You guys are gonna be able to find wayyyyy more bugs or crash causes than me, so please let me know, and more importantly how I can recreate the unintended behaviour

Currently I am already aware of some animation quirks :)


On Recruitment:
You increase BOTH your capacity for the Harbinger (Unit) and Archai (Hero) through the Archai skill tree



Submods and compatibility

I haven't tested the compatibility with mods, but I've been told that it's compatible with SFO etc
If you think there's a compatibility problem, let me know and I'll see what I can do :)

@headthief doesn’t surprise me, unfortunately I can’t help you there as that mod creates another faction which isn’t apart of the base game,

@KarlFooknTanner yes, I’m aware, you’ll probably also notice that the halberds running animation is a bit wonky,

basically the morghasts are using a bloodthirster skeleton and therefore use bloodthirster animations

The sword swapping is due to it flipping from a skarbrand animation to an exalted bloodthirster one

Getting skeletons and animations out of total war has never ended well, let alone getting them back in… so making custom ones isn’t an option either

Hello, I dunno if this has been reported but the morghast units that wield dual daggers/swords seem to have funky animations when idle. When idling/standing in place their dual swords keep constantly shifting hands from one side to the other which I doubt is intended. Is it possible to fix this, or change their animations to be less chaos'y and more stoic undead-like?
