Taq Kasra (World Wonder)

Description
"Beware, oh my lesson-taking heart, gaze with your eyes, beware!
See the Iwan al-Mada'in as a mirror of lessons."
- Khaqani

Taq Kasra, Iwan al-Mada'in, Arch of Ctesiphon, all refer to the same palace of Sassanid Empire on the bank of the Tigris River - or all that remains on the ground. The founder of the palace was commonly attributed to either Shapur I or Khosrow I. On the iwan's frontal facade is a monumental arch that stretches about 37m high and 50m long. The palace structure mostly fell apart due to a combination of natural disasters and man-made demolitions, but the archway stood the test of time. The arch was described by many poets in the Islamic period, as both a symbol of Sassanid Empire's splendor, as well as a reminder of the ravages of time.

Two Suggestions that I have for World Wonders are San Marco's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. I've always found it weird that the devs had the Venetian Arsenal but not other famous Venetian landmarks.

Is this the same as the Persian wonder in Age of Empires 2? Either way, cool.

Amazing, such a wonderful effect paired with such an excellent model Phantagonist and JohnLeGreat.

Your other wonders were good, but I can see that this one has really Taq en the Cake in terms of design and art!
