Reload Control

Description
Pretty simple mod, lets you globally set how fast or slow reloads will be for all weapons. For those weapon packs you just wish had reloads a little bit faster or slower.

Initially meant to be part of a much bigger project, but I've decided to separate it into its own mod.

This does not affect bots.

Compatible With:

On Specific Control:
Specific control lets you define reload speed multipliers for specific weapons. The format is weaponName|reloadMultiplier.

The Global Affects Specific setting controls whether the global reload setting will affect what you put here. For example, if global reload speeds are set to 2 and the PATRIOT-TAC has a specific setting of 1.5 the mutator multiply both together to give the PATRIOT-TAC a 3 multiplier to reload speeds. Turning this off will mean it will ignore the global setting and just do what you put in specific.

To Do List:
  • Investigate vehicle reload speeds
  • Fix bug where it doesn't affect sub weapons (this may take a while)

Says right there on the description in bold text. This does not affect bots.

my dumba** thought this affected bots, i gave elite-only weapons 2x reload speed, slowed down noob soldier weapons by x0.9, did like a thousand settings for the best experience. youre telling me that none of that mattered and i couldve very well just did 10x speed and obliterate bots with no problem

It doesn't appear to change visually at least but it may switch it without me being able to see.

That would depend on how a weapon implements its fire modes. If a fire mode is a sub weapon there isn't much I can do about that I'm afraid.

When switching fire modes the specific control on the weapon no longer works.

I have one actually, but it isn't the best performing mod so I haven't released it yet

it'd be nice to see a mod like this but for damage. some weapon mods look and feel amazing, but have way too much damage compared to other weapons
