Description
Welcome to the arena! This overhaul mod is meant as a tool to quickly and easily set up tactical 1v1 PvP battles.

Addons:
Custom Tomes Compatibility update is here! You can now use Tomes created by other modders on the Skirmish Arena. See Skirmish Mod - Custom Tomes Compatibility for details.

In the same manner you can now use DLC content in your skirmishes. Subscribe to Skirmish Mod - DLC Compatibility to enable this content.



Instructions:
Start the game. From Custom Realms menu pick "Skirmish mod". You need to set 2 players and I recommend far distance for more reliable map generation. When in game follow the tutorial to setting up your first battle. The in-game menus are event based - in case you mistakenly close one, you can always reopen it through scripted Game Control strategic spells.

Known issues:
1. Resetting the game is currently unable to clean up heroes. Workaround: Be a sport about it and don't bring more heroes to the battle than agreed.

Future features:
1. Add configuration option to choose the terrain and structure to serve as battlefield
2. Add a control spell to teleport all player units to the battlefield
3. Draft mode
4. Add option to build multiple Affinity Province Improvements
5. Add option to cast Age Of Affinity spells

Compatibility:
The mod tosses most of the game economy out of the window. It should easily accomodate additional race and world traits, though compatibility with mods that grant additional Tomes will require some mod-by-mod additional work (details TBD).

Not my type of mod, but kudos for creating one like this for AoW 4.
A possible fight skirmish mode was deemed as too much feature creep way back when Aow 3 was still in its closed beta phase.
sad to see Triumph didn't try to incorporate one in their projects since.

Hello, thanks for the great mod! but there are problems:
All T4-T5 units that are produced in cities cost gold and not tirсoins.
There are no resources for the Rivers to buy the Magelock Cannon. Simply put the cannon does not cost tircoins.
