TerraGuardians Mod

Description
Companion in the cover: Cotton.

  • This mod is currently being remade for tModLoader 1.4, so features and companions from previous version need to reimplemented, and of course, expect bugs.
  • There might be incompatibility issues with some mods, due to the way the companions work. I might be unable to fix them on my side.
  • This mod also requires N Terraria Utilities mod.

Are you tired of playing Terraria on singleplayer, alone, with Terraria boring npcs? This mod will
solve that issue for you.

I introduce to you the TerraGuardians; creatures of many shapes and sizes that are appearing on
Terrarians dimension for unknown reasons.
You can meet these unique characters during your travels, you can befriend them, ask them to follow you
on your quests, leave them living on your world, and much more.
Beside this mod adds TerraGuardians, it also adds some Terrarian companions that you can recruit too,
each with their unique look and personality.

This mod is in constant development, so new companions will appear in your game as the mod updates,
with more of the mod lore to be unfolded.

In case of incompatibilities, I can try fixing it on my side, but some of them might require the
modder of the other mod to get involved.

Known Incompatibilities:
- Terraria Overhaul
-> Some features will affect companions, not in a really good way depeding on the case.
- Souls from Fargo Souls will crash the game when equipped on companions.
-> If you end up having that issue, disable temporarily Fargo Souls mod, and remove the item from the companions with them equipped.
-> It's safe to re-enable the mod later, just don't give them any Souls for now.
- Auto Team Join
-> It will not work as expected depending on companion you have. Use Lan's Auto Join Team instead.
- PalMod
-> It breaks Custom Companions (like TerraGuardians).

That's definitely some weird bug. I wonder if happened some mod incompatibility, which somehow got fixed by reinstalling.

i know that, but like, when i press E to use the hook, instead of me using the hook, the companion uses, and gets stuck on the place i aimed to use the hook, and i noticed that when he uses the same item i have on the hotbar, and i use the item when i'm close to him, my character not use it and instead the companion use it, well...i kinda fixed it by unistalling both mod and installing again

The companion followers are pulled towards you when they get too far away or get stuck.
In the mod settings, there is a setting that allows changing that to a teleport instead.

i'm getting sick and idk what to do, for some reason my companion starts using the hook when i get close to him, and he get stuck, idk what i pressed that made he start doing that-

Speaking of multiplayer, do you think you would make a standalone version of the knockout system for it? I honestly would've liked that for it, but I understand if you don't want to.
